I bought two of these sets for my grandchildren for Christmas. I wish I would have bought four! They love them so much, and the dramatic creativity and “old -fashioned” pretend is endless. The youngest is 18 months, twin grandsons are almost three, and the oldest granddaughter is three. They all enjoy chasing thieves as police officers and fighting fires using a vacuum hose for the water! Haha! The quality is really good, the accessories make the costume realistic and fun, and the clothing is easy to quick change multiple times along with toddler shirt attention spans. This was a great gift for my little ones, they are 7 and 3 and they love playing pretend and being police officers with this kit. It did come complete with the hat, vest, badge, whistle, ID card, baton, flashlight, gun, handcuffs with a key, (prerend) walkie talkie that makes a siren sound and the carrying bag it is sold in. The batteries in the flashlight and walkie talkie are " button cell" batteries so thats going to be a little inconvenient replacing when they die, but the kids definately have fun pretending to be cops with this. I understand that keeping costs lower and affordable comes with drawbacks, and that is why I can't be too harsh when criticizing the integrity of the gun and cuffs included. These items are the ones that would likely get broken more easily from use. They are toys, and young children can be rough so they may break ( like anything else) but overall this is a good item. The vest and hat are good quality for play, and this would also make a good costume. One suggestion that would complete this set is if it had come with a utility belt to hold the flashlight, radio, gun, baton and handcuffs it would be totally complete, as the kids now have to put some of these items in their pockets to carry them all. At the end of the day watching them get so much enjoyment with this kit ( which really is fairly priced) I do recommend it to anyone that has a child that uses their imagination while playing. Be careful when ordering, there is an identical set out there that does not include the vest, but that information is listed in the contents description. ... show more

First off, this costume is adorable and my 4 year old grandson was beyond excited to receive it and put it on. I loved that it had so many pieces included. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the face shield on the helmet broke almost immediately at one hinge. We ended up just pulling the other side off. He was the most excited about the water shooting fire extinguisher (as you can imagine), but it had a hole mid way down and we had to fix it with gorilla tape before it would hold water. Small issues, but they did stop me from giving it 5 stars. We would buy again and recommend, however, as the rest of the pieces seem to be great quality and made our kiddo very happy. ... show more

My daughter loves this! She’s is definitely the cutest fire chief I’ve ever seen! She put everything on as soon as it was delivered. The fire extinguisher is the best part. It has some power to it, so don’t let them spray anything delicate or eyes.

We originally ordered this for a Halloween costume for our 2.5 yo son but tbh he has had so much fun at home with it that it makes it that much more worth it. He's short for his age (around 3 ft) and the jacket definitely is long, but a cute long (not an overly huge going to trip long). All we had to do was roll up the sleeves and he was good to go. The material is surprisingly durable and has a quality feel to it. The hat has an adjustable ring on the inside and the costume also comes with a plastic fire extinguisher, ax and an ID tag that loops around their neck. We took away the tag - moreso for overprotective parent moments (he wanted to sleep with it around his neck - big NOPE). So far he's played firefighter at least once a day since he's gotten it. Definitely worth it from our perspective - one of the better pretend play costumes that will grow with him that we've seen! ... show more
