Description

Make changes to water flow rate and throw quickly and easily with the Adjustable Flow Bubbler. Featuring a convenient dial to control the water, simply turn the knob to discharge the amount of water to your preference - from the shutoff position at 0 to 21.6 GPH, and up 62 in. radius at pressures between 20-40 PSI. Water is released in a fan spray, full-circle pattern. Ideal for groundcover, decorative grasses, flower and vegetable gardens, as well as trees and shrubs. Emitter is assembled on a 5 in. stake, and a built- in ¼ in. barbed inlet connects to ¼ in. supply tubing. Bubbler is made of polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors. Drip irrigation systems are easy to customize, install, and operate. With non-pressure compensating emitters, expect varying water flows based on length of tubing or elevation, with higher flows closer to the water source. Adjustable flow bubblers are easy to set up in drip systems, and can be used in place of several drippers. Raindrip offers an emitter for every watering need. Raindrip is a leading manufacturer of drip and micro-irrigation solutions and the trusted brand of landscapers since 1972. • Great coverage and still works even at low pressure
I've tried many brands of emitters, some from online retailers, some from hardware stores, and the emitters that came with my house. This fan emitter by Raindrip is by far the best for two main reasons. (1) They get excellent coverage, meaning that water lands on everything within the spray radius. Other emitters spray individual streams or a circular hoop pattern where only a portion of the ground surface gets wet. I don't know how effectively water spreads out under the surface... I'm going to guess that with those other emitters, most of the roots I'm trying to water are staying dry, while most of the water goes to waste flowing downward through the same saturated spots. These Raindrip emitters will be more effective for the plants and and more water efficient. (2) These emitters still put out a nice spray of water in low pressure conditions where other brand emitters only put out a trickle or sometimes fail to emit anything. This is important to me because I have one irrigation line that goes around the whole backyard and has a lot of plants that need emitters. Near the end of that line, the water pressure is low. I've always had to go outside and manually water the plants there knowing that they weren't getting enough water from the emitters. Now after putting out these Raindrip emitters I won't have to anymore. Very pleased. ... show more

  • Works Perfectly
I needed these for my backyard irrigation system that I was installing. Lowe’s was always out of them and Amazon had next day delivery at half the price of what Lowe’s was charging. Highly recommend.

  • Came broken
Brand new and was missing the cap, so water squirted straight up

  • Great Product - at least 75% were
I put in a drip irrigation system for my wife years ago. Should have done it 20+ years ago. I bought a bunch of these several year back and raved about how great they are. I found one broken one this last week when starting the system up so without hesitation I ordered a dozen more. Got them in one day. Wonderful. I put one of the new ones on to replace the broken one and turned the system on to adjust it. And said what? It was a failure. Replaced it with another and had a second failure. So I sat down and checked all of them. While all had the same labeling and looked the same, a closer look showed 3 of one design and 9 of another design. Ok. The 9 are exact duplicates of what I bought in the past. 3 are something else and are now in the trash can. So beware - I have no idea if I order again which ones will be delivered - the fantastic ones or the ones for the trash. ... show more

  • Much better water distribution
I have been using these for years. I like these better than anything else if I am watering multiple plants in a raised bed. They spray out in a circle, are adjustable, and get everything wet between the sprinkler and the outside perimeter.

  • Poor quality compared to those bought elsewhere
I buy a TON of rain drip stuff for my garden and greenhouse. I have some of these installed in my green house raised beds and they work great. They don’t have a huge spray radius, but they put out a good bit of water. The additional ones ordered here do not. About a third of them hardly spray at all. The others put out significantly less water, and the adjustment doesn’t seem to do much at all. The tags and item #s match, but there is an obvious difference in quality. ... show more
