Much better than the $30 generic brand you can get at Michaels. These are silly and rarely tangle. There's no fraying and the amount you get for the price is unbeatable. I love cross stitch but don't have the cash to sink into DMC, this is a great alternative given how many shades it comes with. The only odd thing I've noticed is that sometimes you'll get two different colors with the same color number wrapped around them. But given the color codes dnt mean much (with them being generic) it's not a deal breaker.

I’m a very novice embroiderer. Bought this for my first project in a long time and they are easy to work with. I had seen a video about how to unwrap and still keep it all neat. That was very helpful compared to to the full disassembly I’ve done in the past. So be sure you google how to unspool this brand.

I do a lot of embroidery and micro knitting work and I’ve order this floss several times. The thread stays together nicely. They are soft and beautifully colored. This is one of my favorite brands for my work.
