We were trout fishing when the $400 rod setup I had in this rod holder was lost. The fishing line snagged on a tree limb , then we heard a crack and the rod holder broke taking my rod and reel to the bottom of the lake. 2 hours later my wife has a hook up on the second rod holder, she goes to pull it out of the rod holder and the rod holder breaks. The break is in the exact same place as the first rod holder. Is all she did was pull the rod out of the holder. We are out the $400 on the rod/reel and also the money we payed for these junky rod holders. Fishing buddies don’t buy! Maybe the company will refund my money? ... show more
