  • Excellent and easy
This wiring harness made the installation pretty easy, worked great

  • You mean they come pre-assembled?!?!?!
So like most folks who would search for such an item, I'm in that boat of people technical enough to understand the basics of installation to perform this process roughly once every 5 to 10 years as the oem stereos become outdated and need replacement so we can have the latest gadget functionality. On this roundabout, I was pleasantly surprised that because I bought a more popular branded stereo (Pioneer), that they make this item WHERE ONE DOES NOT NEED TO SOLDER! OMG, it's the little things in life you know? So all the wires correctly correlated to the car's plugs, in this case Pioneer to Toyota. The wires didn't feel cheap, the plug ends were fine. It's the same hardware you would get in the other packages, just they saved you the sorting which wire goes where and soldering/crimping stage. In my particular case, I needed to solder in the parking brake bypass that I'm sure you as a reader might have stumbled onto as a DIYer for Pioneer units. And in my case I was happy again to realize they included three extra wires which have the metal ends that just click into the plugs, just make sure it's the right pin hole you want to use and you'll be fine. Good luck with your install. ... show more

  • Forget cutting and splicing. Get this pre-wired harness and save your sanity.
Scenario - Swapping out my old "standard" 2010 Toyota Sienna radio for a Pioneer AVH-200EX touch screen head Pros - Made installing the new stereo a breeze. - Eliminated cutting and splicing of "most" (though not all) wires. - Of the few wires I had to splice, I used Tyco Electronics Tap/Splice connectors to make the connections without a SINGLE cable cut. Cons - No instructions to speak of. Just a bag, a pre-wired bunch of cables, and a prayer. - You still need to do a visual check of the un-spliced harness that comes with the radio to match up certain cables on the pre-wired harness and then splice them in to the car electrical system. In spite of the Cons, though, this will be the way I do any future car. The pre-spliced and wired harness was a perfect fit and it saved me almost an hour. ... show more

  • Correct for 1995 Toyota Corolla to Pioneer
I ordered this adapter harness to connect a Pioneer MVH-S322BT stereo to a 1995 Toyota Corolla. This is the correct adapter. It worked perfectly. I just taped the two loose wires to the harness so they couldn't short and then plugged the harness in. This adapter harness connected correctly to the stereo and the car's original harness. The stereo works great and I didn't need to do any wiring or splicing. Five stars! ... show more

  • Easy plug and play harness
Easy to install, though I did blow my radio fuse because I attempted to install without disconnecting the battery and the red wire touched the radio housing. Once I replaced the fuse and connected the harness my pioneer stereo worked as it should.

  • Made Install a Breeze! Made Install a Breeze!
Installed a older Pioneer AVH170DVD double din head unit in my'96 4runner to replace original stock radio that failed. This writing harness made the install soooooo easy. No splicing/connecting wires. Just plug and play and new unit works great. Delivery quick and product was flawless.

  • It did not fit.
Doesn't fit so it's useless to me. Wasted my time to research the item and the information stated it would fit as I requested. It does not. Waited for item to arrive and then spent more time trying to install it and discovered the connections were not compatible so all the company did is waste my time by providing incorrect information and shipping an item that I purchased based on the incorrect information provided by the company that will cost me more time and frustration to request and hopefully receive a refund of the purchase price just to be right back to begin the process of searching for a plug and play adapter that will correctly provide the one I need for the stereo and vehicle that I need to easily resolve this minor alteration. An easy task has been made more complicated because now I have to request a refund for the purchase price of the incorrect item due to this company's error so that at least they won't profit from wasting my time and delivering nothing but disappointment. 1st time in my life I have wasted this much time writing a review for anything...ever...and it's a stupid cheap item but it sure has pissed me off lol sorry... but now I'm done with it. ... show more

  • It works...
It made the connection easy except I can't control the unit from the steering wheel.
