This chair is actually better than I expected, so I wanted to write a review. First, on assembly. Putting furniture together fills me with dread. I am a reasonably competent adult, but I'm not very coordinated. I didn't find this particularly difficult, even though I did it myself. There was one screw (there's *always* one screw!) that gave me trouble, and it probably took me twice as long because of that one screw, but it wasn't difficult. I personally found it easiest to lay on the floor the side with the leg I wanted to insert, then insert and fully tighten the front screw. That made it much easier to line up the second screw. Be aware you're working in a tight space with the back legs, so it's not difficult to tighten them (except for that ONE SCREW!) but it is time-consuming. BTW, the legs are stored underneath the seat. It didn't take me long to find them, but just in case someone is confused! The seat is *plenty* roomy. I'm not a small woman -- I'm both tall and overweight -- and there was plenty of room both front to back and side to side. (I saw one review that said the seat was too short, and now I'm mystified by that one!) I read the measurements, of course, but was still pleasantly surprised at how large it is. It IS a foam seat, so it is on the firm side. It's not the most comfortable seat of all time, but it's more comfortable than I expected for the price. It seems very sturdy. The legs are solid, and the whole thing feels solid once assembled. I got the brown chair, and it's a really nice medium chocolate shade of brown -- not too orange or yellow. I'd say the photo is accurate on my computer. All in all, I'm very pleased. I wouldn't buy this as a seat I'd sit in for hours every day, but for a guest chair, an accent chair, it's better than I expected, particularly for the price. And, most importantly, my foster cat likes it! ... show more

I have been looking for chairs for my classroom for awhile. I came across these and decided to take a chance. I’m glad I did! I ordered two in navy blue and even though they look darker in the picture, they are a deep blue color. Assembly was easy and literally took 5 minutes or less per chair. The quality is good and I like the backing with the buttons sewn in. They are pretty sturdy and have quality materials. They even arrived earlier by about 5 days. For the most part, they are pretty comfortable. They’re new and I’ve only had them for a day so I’ll need to see how the comfort is, but overall, I love the style they’ve added to my class. This is a nice, solid, and comfy chair for the price. We bought it for our medical office waiting room and it fits nicely, the seat is a little higher (perfect for folks with mobility issues), and built solid. It took all of 15-20 minutes to put it together - all we had to do was screw in 8 bolts into the four legs, and then insert the backrest into its place (no screws, just fits in), and bam, it was done. The color (on my monitor) showed it to be a bit more saturated, but in real life it was more of a medium mauve. We still like it and it works well in our space. Recommended. ... show more

I wanted a nice looking side chair for my living room. The price drew me to this one. It was very easy to assemble, just attach 8 bolts from the legs to the seat which took approximately 10 mins. It looks great and very comfortable.
