Features

  • 2003 Cavalier car stereo radio wiring harness is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH AMP SYSTEMS LIKE BOSE, INFINITY, etc.. Red wiring is not for all models, but if the OEM radio harness of your vehicle does not have an ignition wire, the aftermarket stereo cannot be turned off/on through the OEM radio harness. To solve this problem, you need to get a 12v power supply from the ignition by running the red cable separately from the factory radio harness.

  • It does work and they were pinned properly
Style: Radio harness
To say the least everything was quality, the hard part was bypassing my factory amp with Staples and four jumper wires lol trying to find a pinout and a wire scheme for a 2008 trailblazer with the Bose system and an amp is almost impossible hundreds of different forums but none are adequate enough to follow without cutting a few wires. With that being said the product works well. ... show more

  • Great product
Style: Radio harness w/connector butts
This is the second Red Wolf harness, I've purchased. The first one is installed currently and working perfectly in my work truck. I'm sure the second will work equally as well for my personal vehicle when the radio gets here.

  • Good but..
Style: Radio harness
The wires didn't line up with my gm plug as stated. For example the 12v constant lines up with the ignition wire. Basically I had to run new one to the fuse panel. No biggie but they advertise as plug and play which in my case isnt totally accurate

  • Harness is correct. Wiring configuration is wrong. Antenna adapter is not.
Style: Radio harness+antenna adapter
Installing in a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox. The one good thing to say about it is that the connector fits. The bad is that the wiring configuration is all wrong. I connected this harness up to a new Boss receiver I purchased from Amazon as well. I didn't think to check the wiring but trusted this fit the Equinox as stated. When I turned the radio on, all my gauges went to zero and warning lights were illuminated on the dash. I thought it was the radio itself and was ready to send it back to Amazon. However, after looking closely at the wiring output from the Equinox, I realized that this harness is not even close to being correct. Speakers were off. Power connector was off. They had a 10v reference going into the ground of the radio. Also, the antenna adapter they send with the kit does not fit a Chevy. I have no idea what this is for. I had to purchase a separate adapter from Amazon for $6. ... show more

Everything I’ve ever ordered from Wolf has been absolutely top notch. It’s the highest quality materials and workmanship and I’ve never once had a problem with figment. Better than OEM and that’s the honest truth. They cost a little bit more but you get what you pay for. I want top quality and that’s everything they sell. ... show more

  • 04 Silverado...ehhh...it can work.
Style: Radio harness
So, for all intensive purposes, it works. Harness connector fits the factory plug, speakers are correct, power is correct, but the factory wiring does not have a 12v acc wire present, and you gotta have that for the unit to power up. This won't be an easy job for a beginner, and it was a bit of a pain for me, and I'd consider myself intermediate. The broken English in the instructions doesn't help...at all. A little research, and I found what I needed...which required a trip to the big box home improvement store. It started feeling like a "free" puppy $50 later. You're going to need a voltmeter, something to jump off of your fuse box (make sure you don't jump off of anything necessary for vehicle operation, and don't jump off of something that is continuously powered,) a little ingenuity, YouTube, anger management courses, NyQuil (so you can sleep at night and not think about why your radio isn't working,) lots of beer, and a strong vocabulary of curse words. Once you've ran that wire, it will attach to the red acc 12v wire from your new unit's harness. If you wired everything properly, you will have a working unit. You can search YouTube for "acc wire from fuse panel," and you should find what you need for that. I also ended up using a previously installed XM radio acc wire because the one supplied was too short. That's also why you'll need anger management courses. Keep in mind, no matter what harness you buy, you'll have this problem. This isn't an error on Red Wolf's part. But their instructions were garbage, and helped zero. Hope this helps, and be sure to just go ahead and get about 20-25 ft of similar gauge wire for your acc from the fuse panel. It's cheap, and it's better to have too much than not enough. ... show more

  • Works for 03 avalance
Style: Radio harness
What to know is that the factory harness in the truck has not accessory power wire so the jumper that comes with this harness is very I'mportant tie all wires in to new harness besides the red wire on new harness you will jump this wire from an accessory wire coming from your ac control panel. You will need a volt meter to find the wire you need start by checking with switch off for a constant which will have 12v with switch off than turn switch on and hunt for another wire that reads around 12v this will be your jumper wire. Hope this helps. ... show more
