Composite material is good quality but maybe overkill for the purpose. I think if they were metal it could be more cost efficient for the buyer and serve the same purpose. Couldn’t find this product in other materials so I had to pay the high cost. Not sure if it’s worth buying these unless you’re installing excellent quality speakers, you may end up paying more for these than the speaker is worth. No screws, and pre drilled holes Did not line up, had to drill new ones and find longer screws, material feels good quality though, I went with this brand as it was fastest shipping and I didn't want to wait for a brand that fit my front speakers on an earlier speaker install
