I've owned this for about a year now. I bought it last year for my son when he was turning 5. He showed a lot of interest in scooters and i thought this would be a good way for him to learn how to use one. It was perfect, durable, sturdy, almost no assembly required so super easy to get started. The wheels are like a hard plastic material, but we have used it on the trail next to our house that leads to a park and it has worked just fine, on the not so even pavement and rocks. It has held up well, as my sons younger sister who is currently 4 years old has also started playing with this thing almost on the daily. I highly recommend! ... show more

This is perfect for my two year old and the handlebars go up high enough that my husband and I can race around on it, too :). It was super easy to assemble and start using. It's also lightweight and easy to take with you but I do wish it folded!
