The media could not be loaded. Two problems. 1) I bought this to filter the harsh sunshine from my South-facing hime office window. I just put it up and unfortunately (see video) the sun is nearly as glaring. 2) Based on the listed dimensions and product image, I was under the impression that the long side would be horizontal and the short side would be vertical. But unfortunately it was the opposite. I hung it in a non-conventional manner to at least see if it would filter the sunlight, but as mentioned it didn’t even do that. ... show more

I purchased this to provide shade for a west facing patio that gets bright afternoon sun for several hours every day. This particular shade is way too sheer to accomplish that. (So I was confused in the star evaluation as to why there was a rating for sheerness and had to rate it excellent for sheerness, but that's not what we were looking for.) While the texture and colors are very aesthetically pleasing, it does not do the job I needed to protect the area from bright sun.. The photos of the product provided in the product description where two appear to be installed on a deck, seem to present that this shade provides total shade to the area. This is a bit deceptive and not reality. When wanting to roll up the shade, the clips provided are inadequate to hold the amount of rolled up shade and they are placed too low to allow a complete roll up to the valance. It was easily installed however. And I don't know what the catefory of STRETCH in the star evaluation is for. All in all, this was the wrong product for my needs. ... show more

Looks great on my Gazebo. I get privacy but i can still see outside very well. This can be hung in 5 minutes. (Just measure the distance between screws and make sure they are both at the same level - lightly hammer in the nail/hook and screw it in with a gloved hand 0 hang the shade and DONE)
