These are wonderful knives for not only tomatoes but fruits , cucumbers, removing melon rind and slicing cake. I bought one June 24 @$15.85, I have continued to purchase additional ones for a total of 23. Unfortunately, there has been a 2$ increase in price between June 24 and August 24. This is an excellent product! I've used one for years and it was just time to replace it. It stayed sharp for well over ten years because I only used it for its intended purpose.... peeling tomatoes. Amazon offered a great deal to get two of these knives for a great price so i will replace my "old faithful" one with one of them and gift the other one I look forward to using my new one on this year's bounty of tomatoes! ... show more

My favorite knife. I had one of these for many years (don't even know where I got it... I think someone left it at our house 10 years ago.) I'd never seen one before. When we sold our RV, I didn't realize this knife was in it and accidentally gave it to the new owners. It took me a while to figure out what this was. My wife suggested "tomato knife" and I found it right away and immediately ordered a two-pack. Love these things! I use them as steak knives, filet knives, and yes, they're great for cutting delicate things like tomatoes. Super-sharp and serrated. My original was a Henckels, but these seem to be exactly the same. I was willing to pay 25 bucks for one (and I'm a "thrifty" person) so I was thrilled to see that Amazon sold TWO for that price. I'll never be without a couple of these in my kitchen again! ... show more
