- COMPONENT: Akfix 805 Insulation Spray Foam is a single-component, moisture-curing and self-expanding aerosol polyurethane foam. It is designed for easy dispensing through the straw adapter included with each can. Foam expanding sealant does not contain any propellant gases that are harmful to the ozone layer.
- COMMON USAGE AREAS: Akfix 805 Polyurethane Foam Spray can be used on window and door frames, big gaps, joints, cavities, electrical outlets, water pipes, etc. It is also used for filling of penetrations in walls. After the application, this expanding foam insulation spray is recommended to be used with 800C Spray Foam Cleaner which is sold separately.
- HOW TO USE: 1.Akfix 805 Waterproof Spray Foam Insulation Can should be shaken at least 20 times before use. 2.When applied it should be turned down. 3.Strongly recommended not to press the trigger hard if you use it for the first time. 4.Make sure to wear protective gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing during the process. 5.Foam cures in 3-5 minutes. But you can wait 24 hours for a full cure. 6.Cured foam dries rigid and can be trimmed, shaped and sanded.
- PROPERTIES: Akfix 805 PU Foam is a product that water-proof, over paintable. NOTE: This window insulation spray foam adheres to almost all building materials with the exception of surfaces such as polyethylene, teflon, silicone and surfaces contaminated with oils and greases, mold release agents and similar materials.

I could hear mice running from inside my walls in my apartment. I could hear them scurrying around especally at night. Kept banging the walls to scare them away but kept coming back. Got fed up and drilled holes inside the lower part of my walls throughout my apartment, then I pumped all the foam inside it filling in the gaps. I think it worked. Haven't heard anything yet. Our new to us home has 70 year old windows in the basement and they needed to be sealed around the edges so I got this in hopes it would do the trick; it absolutely did! I was also able to use this to seal the back door that hasn't been square in the door frame in years, and all the old coaxial cable holes in the floors and walls. I especially appreciate being able to cut, sand and shape it the way I want it once it hardens.

This is a fine expanding foam and probably good barrier for pests… but let me warn you: the smell is unbearable. DO NOT manipulate without gloves, and DO NOT inject the foam near living spaces.

Let me just say this… if you are used to the old school spray foam from even a decade ago… this stuff is 25x better and a little goes a LONG way. It’s easy to apply, but do not think this stuff doesn’t expand, because 30 minutes later you will see what it can do! I side this to fill various gaps ranging from 2-8 inches and it works fantastic. I will definitely purchase this again.

can gave up after 6". This was not a stop and go but a continuous spray that quit working after 6". Probably a good product, but useless if you pay for a full can and have to throw away a full can.
