I’ve been using this detector mostly when driving to work and running errands around town. My old one used to go crazy near malls and traffic lights, which was super annoying. This one is much better — it stays quiet most of the time and only alerts when something real is going on. It was easy to set up, just stick it on the windshield and plug it in. The suction cup holds well and hasn’t slipped so far. It’s small and doesn’t block my view, which I like. The only downside is the alert sound could be a little louder, especially when music is playing. Other than that, it works well for everyday driving and feels worth the money.

My husband would like to update his current radar detector and I'm happily requesting him this. I remember sitting in his car but his current detector is 'shouting' on all the possible alarms, which is really distracting especially when I'm listening to music or comedy show. This one is smaller in size than his current one, and I was a little concerned about the performance. It took my husband minutes to have it installed.
