I ordered several of these rack drawers in the 1U, 2U, and 3U configuration. They are well-made and sturdy, the draw slides are smooth, and the locks work nicely. All the locks use the same key which I considered a plus - I don't plan on locking them, though. The build quality was at least as good as a much more expensive Gator sliding drawer that I had bought in the past. I like the way the Rackpath drawers look better than the Gator, with the nice metal pulls - this may be a con for you thought if you prefer the flush latch pulls on the Gator drawers. I would rate the 2U and 3U as 5 stars. I am knocking one star off my rating since the 1U that I ordered had a slightly bowed top, which limits the height of the items you can put into it by a few millimeters, ,which matters in a drawer this shallow. I ordered a second 1U drawer thinking that the first one had a manufacturing issue, and the replacement had the same problem, so I have to assume this is an issue for the 1U size. The 2U and 3U did not have this issue - they had perfectly flat tops aligned with the top of their drawer faces. ... show more

It's actually a great drawer. My only issue is if your rack only has screw holes at the top and bottom of each U, then this rack will take up more than three U of space, as you have to shift it up/down. It's engineered to use the middle screw holes, which don't exist on the rack I'm using it with.

It's a good rack drawer, my only complaint is not having a way to lock it in the open position (or maybe there is and I'm missing it?). My rack has a bit of a back angle and the drawer is hard to keep open, some kind of locking mechanism would be great.

Pretty decent. Mine installed a little bit warped so the drawer shuts slightly crooked. Might be able to straighten it out but would be nice if it was sturdier so this didn't happen.
