THIS IS NOT THE ADVERTISED HEIGHT!!! Part of the reason that I purchased this rack was the advertised height of 84.65". My basement ceilings are 85.5". 84.65 is smaller than 85.5 so the rack should fit, right? Close, but it should fit. No. It does not fit. I measured the height of the rack without the pull-up bar/front support. It's still not 84.65". I have no idea where they got 84.65 from. Total height from the top of the pull-up bar/front support to the floor is approximately 85.75". UPDATE: Spoke with customer service and they took care of the issues. They also asked what they could do to improve their product/listing. Adjusted review from 1 to 4 stars. For the price, the rack is good. It's not a $2,000 rack but it's high quality for the price. I had to modify my rack to make it fit due to the height not being advertised correctly. The only real design complaints would be that the upper weight storage bar can't go on if you want to bench with this and that the cable routing makes it a pain to use anything that attaches to the posts.

The product arrived with a damaged box, but we initially ignored it and started assembling. As we progressed, we noticed one of the parts was broken — we decided to overlook that too and kept going. However, we soon ran into more issues: one of the screws didn’t fit into the designated hole properly, and the instructions were confusing. The screw numbers listed in the manual didn’t match the diagram, which made the process even more frustrating.I am waiting on seller response let’s see how co-operative they are according will update review later.

After a few weeks of use, I think the Goimu squat rack is of good quality. It is very strong and sturdy, and there are no signs of looseness. I usually do strength training at home for 30 minutes twice a day. The manufacturer says that the maximum load capacity is 2,000 pounds, which is a concern for me. In my actual daily training, I usually don't have such a high load capacity, so there is no problem with bench presses or stretching. The Goimu power cage comes with some accessories for easy use. I especially like the T-bar to strengthen my back muscles. If you use other accessories, you have to adjust the different rack shapes according to your needs. Because these accessories are very easy to install and remove, it will be easier to clean. Oh, by the way, the pulley system uses precision bearing pulleys and PU steel wire ropes, which slide very smoothly and almost without noise, which I like. The installation process does not take long. I am lazy and spent an afternoon to complete it. I think the difficulty is relatively simple. Just like some furniture cabinets you buy, you can basically complete it according to the installation instructions. I finally decided to buy this power cage after thinking for a long time. Compared with the previous need to go to the gym every time, it is much more convenient, and private use is much cleaner than outside.

The media could not be loaded. Assembly was pretty easy, but there are certain parts where the picture is so small it’s hard to tell how to put them together. For example the cable wire that connects to the handles has a little ball and a few other pieces. It was not super clear. There’s also another part where the instructions were incorrect where you assemble the top back bar where the Goimu logo is. I think I was also missing one of the short black pulley sleeves while I had 3 total long pulley sleeves and I don’t know what the 3rd one is for. If you look at my video, it does seem to wobble a bit. I wasn’t sure if that was normal but it is a bit strange. My ceiling heights are low so I had to install my pull up bar upside down. It’s tricky though. You have to take out the top pulleys and insert the pull up bar piece in between the top bar and column. And then since there’s an extra piece of metal in between the horizontal holes didn’t align so I had to drill them open a bit to get the screws to go in and tighten them. Another reviewer mentioned that if you have weights on the top weight holders, it absolutely interferes with squatting down if you are not precisely in the middle. Quite dangerous as it knocked me to one side a bit and almost made me fall. You need to take off those weights to squat properly. And while squatting if you stand up straight, the cable pulley thing you pull to switch holes has a cage type thing and it was hitting my weights too. So depends on your height. I’m 5’10” and pushing the pulleys all the way to the top did the trick. And then if you try to do barbell rows, then the bottom weight holders get in the way and it becomes very tight. See my picture. It is small footprint so I like that, but the middle column used for holding the pulley weights is kinda close to your face when you squat. Not super uncomfortable but I didn’t think about that when purchasing. Still I would rather have a lat pulldown than not. Overall I’m mostly happy, but it is quite unfortunate that the weights get in the way of squatting, benching and barbell rows. I need to get a separate weight holder. Not the end of the world but not ideal.
