    • Angle of Vain in front rotors

I purchased front Rotors and Pads , also rear rotors and pads. I had a mechanic install brakes. Brakes work good. I had bought new tires today and the mechanic and I noticed the front rotors have the ventilation vain cut on an angle, some are straight at 90 degrees. Since they are angled down they should face front of vehicle so the air flows best through the rotor for cooling. The problem is both rotors are angled down but are the same. The Drivers side is fine, but since they are the same the passenger side angles towards the rear of vehicle and does not get proper air flow. I watched you tube videos from the website and it shows to install with angle vents towards front of vehicle.Apparently I received two left from rotors instead of one left and one right. It would be quit difficult to put car on jack stands and uninstall pads and rotors to send back !! If there is a left and right front, which seems there certainly is, please send me a right side rotor and I will send the one I have that is wrong back to you. I would of given 5 stars if I had or get proper rotor. I called Amazon to get number of the Seller, they did not have a listing for Seller? Amazon is sending me a whole front and rear set of Rotors and pads. I only need one rotor. They told me to exchange part I need and send the rest back. Customer service with Amazon is terrific ! It is a shame they have to send the whole kit for one part, the shipping on 50 pounds must be quit expensive. This should solve my problem, as I stated in first review the brakes work great, stopping distance is much shorter than original rotors and pads. I will update after a couple of months or so after seeing how the brakes are holding up. These are less expensive than Power Stop Brakes, I have used Power Stop Brakes in the past, will see how they compare to R1 Concepts? ... show more

One the rotors I recieved was warped. My wife complained of a noise from day one. She complained about it off and on for a few months. I took it apart and had it ran on a lathe and it was found to be warped.

My dealer wanted over $1000 for a 4 wheel brake replacement. I quickly went online and found these oem spec replacement rotors and pads with hardware. For less than 1/4 the dealer cost my Rogue brakes are safe and back to new feel. I'm happy with the quality and after breakin they are like factory. Yes it did take 4 hours on a jack but worth the savings and I know it was done correctly. When my next car needs brakes I will buy R1 brakes again. ... show more

Apparently not all pieces were there that were needed and quality/sizing was off so we ended up having to buy another set. It was also packaged very loosely so that could have explains the damaged parts.
