  • My Kit on my 2015 370z touring model.
Style: CEC.42089.03
Easy install, simple remove and replace. How ever, these rotors are surprisingly heavy, As I assumed they would have been "lighter". Pads are of good quality. Installed yesterday evening.. ( 8-4-17 ), So far, seem a bit noisy, and tends to "pull" a bit to the passenger side, but l give it a week or so, to "set in". I love the way it looks with my original Nissan black colored wheels, I have the touring model 370z so I do not have the 4 piston calipers, I have the 2 piston. While you do the install watch your brake fluid reservoir to ensure no leakage occurred when you push the caliper pistols back flush as to when you install your new pads. My car has only 30k miles, and I had a little bit of backfill when after I pushed the piston back flush into the calipers, watch this closely guys as brake fluid can destroy your cars finish and obviously makes a huge mess. Other then that, take your time, go slow, and this mod. Should go smoothly without issue. Ill do a follow up review as to tell you all about the noise and the slight "pulling" I'm having. All in all, great look, I'm liking it. Be safe enjoy your 370z !! Follow up: It is now 8-7-17 Monday. And I have no issues at all. No more slight drift to the right, not any noise. Perfect " wear in " no pulsing pedal, Still looks great very nice upgrade, well worth it. Highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Great looks, performance for less $...win,win,win.
Style: CEC.80023.02
These rotors and pads look great...well packaged and look/feel like an upgrade that you'd expect with performance brake parts. And, they're less expensive than replacement parts from the typical local auto parts stores. My original post mentioned a thump sound...I ended up removing the rotors and putting my old ones back on only to discover the same thump sound. its not very noticeable unless I'm listening for it...so I believe the sound was happening before I put these on and I only really noticed when I was more sensitive to it after putting these on. When I put the old ones back on, not only did I still hear the thump but the difference in (lack of) stopping power was also evident. The car brakes so much better with the eLines... I can't wait to do my brakes for the third time in 6 weeks - this time to get back the look and performance of these brakes. I would highly recommend these. ... show more

  • Great Company
Style: Drilled Slotted Black Ceramic
I bought brakes for my 2014 focus ST made in December 2014. For some odd reason my rotors were 320mm instead of 335mm (“production after March 2014”) when I received them I found out and the R1 team took care of me right away, within a day I had a shipping label for the new rotors. Thanks for taking care of your customers, I will be a returning one :) Ps- measure your rotors so you don’t need to deal with this ... show more

  • Packaging mistake, but otherwise a quality product
Style: Drilled Slotted Black Ceramic
Rotors looked terrific when I received them! For those misunderstanding, YES the sacrificial zinc coating comes off the rotor face with use. And YES It is supposed to. The coating is for the remaining portion so it doesn't dissolve into a big centrifugal rust flinger. I don't recall if the vanes (interior) are directional or not, but I will update when I take another look. Pads are fine, the quality of mine were great. Not something to use at the track but perfectly silent and effective otherwise. The smaller diameter rotors are for the Focus ST's produced on/before March 31, 2014 (320 mm). The larger 335 mm front rotors are for those produced after that date. Rear rotors are the same for both. Which... Brings me to the reason I didn't give a five ⭐ review. This is partly my fault for not checking thoroughly, but I received two sets of front pads and rotors instead of a front and rear set, which were all in one large box. Sincere condolences to my delivery guy :/ I had a lot of back and forth with R1 Concepts and Amazon, trying to figure out what to do. They wouldn't let me return half the order, only the entire 80lb set. I ended up selling the extra pair, but I could only find one manufacturer making a rear set of slotted and drilled rotors for my ST. Oddly, even R1 Concepts doesn't seem to offer just the rear set for sale. Anyhow, learn from my mistake, check your order. Lastly, as I said, I'm not sure if the veins are directional or not, but take care to install them on the correct side of the vehicle. Unlike regular rotors, these have a specific orientation, with the slots & holes running away from the center when driving forward, not inward. Despite the packaging error, these have been great so far, but double check your ENTIRE package to be certain. Rears are noticably smaller than the fronts. ... show more

  • Better quality than the OEM brakes
Style: CEC.63091.02
I don't drive that much so my 2015 only has 65k miles on it. It's a stick, and so with engine braking, I can usually make a set of brakes last 80-100k if I'm careful, depending on vehicle. The OEM rotors are not coated at all and began to rust even when the car was new. My braking performance has been bad for the last few months and I had the dealer check it out when I went for an oil change. They said the rotors were grooved badly (I knew that) and were too rusted to turn and that an all new set of those same crappy OEM brakes would be $600 installed. That did not seem like a good price given I'd end up having the same problem in a few years. I know how to wrench, so I thought I'd look here. I found this set with good reviews, and I have to tell you, the others are not wrong. These bolt right in with no modification necessary at all! Time will tell, but the zinc coating should prevent rust, plus these are slotted and drilled, so they look (and literally should be) a little cooler. I'll update this review if they begin to rust prematurely. The car also stops much better and is now whisper-quiet, if that matters in a brake review. If your Renegade needs new rotors and pads, this is the way. :) ... show more
