This little heater looks great, provides ample warmth, and is reasonably quiet. The only thing to note is that the grill at the bottom only turns on when you have it at the high setting. I thought there was something wrong with mine, but I contacted their support and found out this is the way it is made. Great for my small place. I added a 2 foot section of stove pipe with a 90 degree elbo for effect. The flame effect stopped working in 2 days. But to be fair, I have read the same responses on other makes and models. I didn't give high marks on remote because there is none. But it is not needed.

I love this little heater..the flame is so realistic...it is small but it is the cutest thing...i put it in the attic dorm for when my grandkids are here. I bought a slightly bigger one at the same time but it did not give out anymore heat and the flame is rediculous silly looking and hardly even bright enough to see.     • Heater stopped working after three uses.
This looks pretty, but it is pretty much a box of garbage. The light effect is the only thing that works. The fan and heat element went out after three uses. Only good for target practice at this point. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

    • Fire light bulbs are not replaceable in any of these units. JUNK.
Nice heater, good price, but the motor is too noisy and loud. What is very bad is that there is no way to change the simple fire light bulbs, and they DO burn out, just read the reviews. No way to get in the unit acces and to change them...and no information in the instructions on what bulbs are used. When the bulbs burn out the unit is useless. No one wants a stove heater with no fire light. The 1000 Watt low setting is excellent, no heater should be sold that runs only at 1400 0r 1500 Watts as that is a major fire risk. But if it's fire light you want, this unit will leave you in the dark. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Adore this little fireplace heater. My old one broke and I purchased a new one three years later the flames stopped working but the heater still continued to work. Couldn’t recommend this more but watch the price as it changes drastically. It is on sale for $70 right now and I paid $100 two days ago. ... show more

This is just a small space heater with a bottom blower. But it glows and flickers and creates an ambiance that keeps us happy when a real flame is not possible. You can operate the glow without the heat, and it's not particularly noisy when the heater is on. With the legs off it fits into a suitcase for bringing into a beach condo without being noticed. The top makes a nice side table since it does not get hot. Very lightweight, but that's a positive for my use. ... show more
