The media could not be loaded. First of all, this came in two separate boxes, but they came on the same day, which was great! There were approximately 10 distinct pieces for the frame build-out. It comes with a little handheld wrench and all the hardware - it took me about 90 minutes to put this together. You have to be visually able to look at instructions and assemble accordingly, because there are no written instructions. It would’ve been nice if there were written instructions because on two of the front side pieces, the screws are slightly too long, and on one of them I overtightened and bumped out the press-wood enough to notice a bulge: Nothing fatal, but I wasn’t happy because its now a minor, but permanent blemish on the front side. A few of the pieces (as you can see) it came with manufacturing damage, but it wasn’t enough to make me want to return it. For something in this big I usually just try to deal with it, because it’s too much of a hassle to send it back. The fireplace insert (which came separately) will require a little Phillips screwdriver and I recommend a small nail & hammer to give the screw a tiny 1/8” starter hole or it’s hard to screw right into the hard laminated press wood. It’s a lovely fireplace that is just the right size for my 600 sq foot farmhouse cottage. It powered right on and blew HOT heat (you can easily switch that off for warmer months). The flame is ok - definitely not realistic, but of course this is an electric fireplace, which is obvious - but the flame is lovely and adds a very nice ambience to the room it’s in. Would I buy this again? Yes I would. Would I recommend this? Yes I would, absolutely. And the size is perfect: Make sure you check the measurements so you know exactly what you’re getting. This is much taller and wider than a lot of these little fireplaces, so it presents much more substantially. 5-stars all around! Buy it. ... show more

It was shipped Fedx and not brought to my door. It was left downstairs for two days. I was not notified that it was delivered. It was left out in the rain until I noticed it was down stairs. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase. It emits a good amount of heat for my home office (standard 10x12 foot space) and looks nice. The remote control is a nice extra. The only reason for 4 stars is that the color is not really white or even off-white but almost a cream/yellowish color.

I love it soo much. My BIGGEST complaint, it is NOT WHITE. It's an off white with a hint of pale yellow. I really wanted to return it because of the color being off. But I love the height of it. The details are beautiful and the fireplace insert is nice. It added the right touch (even with the off color). I wish 2 things. I wish the heating vents stretched throughout the whole length of the insert. It only comes out about maybe 2 thirds of the length. The other end is the control board. So you only get heat from only a portion of the vents. And I wish the vents could be adjustable so you can move the air down towards the feet or if you're laying down in front of it. The remote control works well. And easy to assemble. The insert comes separately, about a week after the fireplace arrives. I would buy again but I hate the color. ... show more

This electric fireplace is great! It was easy to assemble and a better quality than expected. We'd read the reviews noting that it is not white~ this is true, it's more on off-white / vanilla color. We were able to mix it with the white furnishings in our room, but off white color may not work for everyone. The heating element shipped separately from the mantle and arrived a few days apart from each other, but the seller was good about communicating the delay and provided tracking information. The unit is quiet and very beautiful. We love the option to have the flames without heat. Only downside for us - there is a loud beep that indicates power on and adjustment of the modes. We haven't figured out how to get the volume lowered on this yet. Overall, this is a 5 star item! ... show more
