We’re in the middle of renovating and still don’t have a furnace installed we use this ace a radiator style space heater to heat up the center of our house (open floor plan, living room, dining room saved kitchen). I like it hot and it gets pretty dang hot in here. I had a weird burning fire place up until this year and though this doesn’t compare it’s still cozy and nice to look at. I put this together myself in about an hour and everything is solid wood. The blower is a little louder than I had hoped but…this is with the money. Cute and affordable, we’re on our 3rd week of using this for several hours a day and haven’t had any issues. I’m hoping it lasts until at least Christmas. The media could not be loaded. This electric fireplace is so beautiful and actually a nice big size for my living room. It took me maybe an hour and a half to build it. I really like it a lot. The only thing I notice is the fireplace itself has fiberglass in the glass. I had to clean it off with a cloth and vacuum the left over. So if you have small children like myself, I have a 1yr old and I heard bad stuff from fiberglass to small children. So be careful when building it around your kids and to make sure of cleaning off the fiberglass from the glass. Also while I was building the fireplace I noticed too that one of the holes was missing a screw socket where you will screw in one of the screws and the piece of wood was only tight on one side and the other side was loose cus I couldn’t screw it in since it didn’t had that one part, if I make sense. ... show more

I almost sent it back, even started a return. But.. buyers have to pay the return cost! Not happy. Decided just to keep it, my son put it together and it's actually really nice! It comes in small Ikea parts, and 2 separate boxes, but looks worth the money when assembled.
