I ordered this over a year ago to add some warmth to the living room of my apartment. A year later, no regrets...even after a dog chewed up the remote, so now I have to use the control panel to switch it on and off. It really does create a cozy vibe in the apartment that the beige walls and manufactured floors were severely lacking. There are three heat levels: no heat (and no fan), level one, and level two. Neither heat levels are particularly warm, but left on for an hour or so, really does create an ambient warmth in the entire room without any other heat source. There is a blowing fan noise when the heat is running, but it's pretty low volume and non-disruptive and a good reminder that the heat is on and needs to be shut off before leaving the house. The flame is obviously fake, but still tasteful. I run it at night even during the summer sometimes, as the warm glow is comforting. The mantel is sturdy and instructions easy to follow. I think it took me 30 minutes total to assemble. Recently, I accidentally got the fan implement slightly wet while deep cleaning the couch cushions, and the heat element stopped working. I thought I was doomed, but after letting the unit dry out overnight, the heat is functioning again. Must be a safeguard build into it to shut off when wet. So glad i don't have to repair or replace. Overall, great quality and lots of compliments from guests who just assumed the unit was built in with the apartment. ... show more

I was able to put this fireplace together by myself within an hour! Such sturdy materials, easy to assemble and the flame/heating unit is very high quality with an easy remote! The heating function is strong with two settings! It looks so nice in our living room! Very fast service! I had a question for the seller....who responded right away with a clear answer! The media could not be loaded. Can’t speak to the longevity of this just yet. I will come back in a few months with an “edit”. So far, no complaints. Shipment arrived faster than expected and not in two packages as some others have mentioned. It all came together so I was happy! Easy to put together. It’s under $300 so don’t expect extreme high quality, the unit is held together by brackets so you shouldn’t move it around too much. With that said, I am happy with the quality for under $300!! The media could not be loaded. This has a great little heater. We’re in the middle of renovating and still don’t have a furnace installed we use this ace a radiator style space heater to heat up the center of our house (open floor plan, living room, dining room saved kitchen). I like it hot and it gets pretty dang hot in here. I had a weird burning fire place up until this year and though this doesn’t compare it’s still cozy and nice to look at. I put this together myself in about an hour and everything is solid wood. The blower is a little louder than I had hoped but…this is with the money. Cute and affordable, we’re on our 3rd week of using this for several hours a day and haven’t had any issues. I’m hoping it lasts until at least Christmas. I ordered the 27" size in the off-white/cream color and it's fabulous! It took me 5 minutes to set up - literally took it out of the box, plugged it in and turned it on. It seriously was THAT easy! Looks realistic, pretty and arrived well-packaged and in a timely manner. You won't be disappointed!

Received incomplete package, no heater insert, maybe will arrive later, but there is no info about it. The worst thing is that was unable to put it together due to missing metal hole insert. Without this part it is impossible to connect parts. Also one part has large defect on the front. Very disappointing. Now I have to put all parts to box and return it. It’ s heavy and seriously I don’t know how I will do that. It was my early Christmas gift which I waiting whole year.* UPDATE * Contacted seller and they offered me to buy parts on their cost or send me missing one. I decided to wait for parts. All process took extra week. I finally put fireplace together and looks good. Was easy assembly. Heater came separate few days after framing and works good. If on the beginning I received completed item definitely I will rate it higher. But because this inconvenient I rate item 3*. ... show more
