I have a building is about 100 years old and it is so hard to keep up the heat. i can feel the braze through the window. so i decide to install a electric heat. Electric is so much cheaper then a new furness. We are talking about hundred and thousands different. It took a while to decide which one to goes to. my building is about 3500sf. so we need a large unit. actually my contractor pick this one out. we got it install right away. it is defiantly two man job. it is pretty heavy. Love this fireplace. I replaced a 70’s metal fireplace with this modern looking cool fireplace. The colors are amazing, flames are realistic and it was easy to install. The heater serves as good supplemental heat. It’s a little louder than I anticipated but not annoying. It is the focal point of our den and very cool!

This is a great fireplace, but dealing with the company is even better! We had this fireplace for 6 months and one of the colors stopped working. (BTW, it’s gorgeous and being able to change the colors is awesome, and the it heats our basement nicely!) We contacted the company, had a couple very pleasant exchanges- the company was very quick to communicate- and now we have a new unit coming our way. We lived this fireplace and now we REALLY love the fireplace. It’s great to deal with a company that really cares about their customers!

This is a nice fireplace/heater but installation is very awkward. First of all this will not work in standard walls with 2 x 4 studs in it, you need to have thicker walls. If you follow all the instructions you'll end up with something like what you see in the attached picture. Is very ugly to look at. You can still see the cutout that you made to install it. I thought that is was going to look flush mounted in the wall but is not really meant to be installed flush because there's a on/off switch that you need to have access to. I had to modify my walls and build a false wall on the back side so that I could install this fireplace. The depth ended up being much more that the recommended in the manual but at least I got it to look flush with the wall. The on/off switch is hidden and I have no access to it but I just left it on and use the remote control to operate it. Another way that I could have done it was to leave it sticking out of the wall and then add some kind of trim around it to conceal the rough cutout. If you are going to mount it "on" the wall instead of in the wall then you have to ignore this review but be aware that this is a very thick fireplace.

Update: Problem Resolved! Excellent customer service. First of all...I was really excited about this product. I had done a lot of research on products similliar to it with more reviews on Amazon and narrowed it down to choosing this one, mainly because it’s multicolored option looked to me like a pink. It’s not pink. At all. It’s not even purple-ish...it’s nothing like the picture. ANYWAYS...Moving on. I was relieved to find no damage to the fireplace when I received it. I read the entire manual before even attempting to continue. Instruction manual said to test and plug it in to make sure it works BEFORE mounting on the wall so I tested it. I haven’t tested the heater/fan yet because it said not to if it was standing on the floor which it was. but I tested the lights and the lights were surprisingly loud. There’s some motor that makes noises to move the flames...Not a big deal for me at all until I left the product on for about 10 minutes straight and began hearing a loud rattling coming from the inside of the appliance...I don’t think I could sleep through that noise if I was in the same room with this fireplace. The remote works and so does the options for the speed of the flames, colors (besides the multicolor looking nothing like the example picture.) and the brightness settings all worked, though I noticed simple changes could have made this product more worth the price. For one, the led strip is a series of bulbs each owning their own color rather than color changing bulbs which would have given more color options. On top of that the flames are not very big. You can change the brightness settings but if this fireplace is mounted or placed to sit even a little bit above eye level, it just looks like a fish tank. The flames get very hard to see. Another thing I noticed was there was no volume for the annoying LOUD beeping the fireplace makes anytime you press a button on the remote. Literally the whole house can hear it. Also not too big of a deal but at this point, little things were starting to turn into big things and add up to lead to this disappointing none star verdict. Installation is ridiculous. I planned to mount it on the wall in my bedroom. The wall mount wasn’t in the box, come to find out with no help from the nearly pictureless manual that the bracket is actually ALREADY attached to the back but not JUST attached...BOLTED...TIGHTLY! I got a wrench and tried to wiggle the bolts free with NO LUCK...come to find out, they’re saudered on. I’ve read the instruction manual over and over again and still can’t figure out how to get the bolts off or why they even have the mounting bracket bolted to the fireplace to begin with when the instructions pretend like it comes separately...So tired and just disappointed. I would have called it quits and just placed it standing on a surface, however, I don’t have a surface to place it on really... Honestly, this entire experience was just disappointment after disappointment. It almost makes me want to return this item and not even bother trying to get another fireplace because the experience of hauling this heavy appliance up my stairs, unboxing, wrestling with bolts and now still having to haul it BACK down stairs and into my car to return is just soooo exhausting. I would call support but the number provided on the manual is in China.

My husband and I had a huge wall in our living room that would couldn’t quite determine what to do with. We decided to build an electrical fireplace and purchased this unit. Needless to say this fireplace is awesome and was the simplest part of this project to install! There are a multitude of color selections and Unfortunately the photos don’t do it any any justice. It’s absolutely stunning and changes the atmosphere. To top it off, it blows out a good amount of heat to keep a small area cozy!

I used this in a house i was renovating. When potential buyers walked in the house they couldn't believe the fireplace and all the colors it had. The like that it can run in the summer without the heat blowing, my contractors used it in the winter to help save money on running the furnace. The remote control doesn't work as fast as i would like it to, but the directions say after you press it, you must wait for the system to react (its not a TV where its instant). All in all this is beautiful and i will put them in other houses i renovate.
