When we purchased our house it had a fireplace downstairs the owner had gutted and just had the outer shell. We wanted to tear it out but decided to keep it. We found a good number of sizes they had! I got the closest I could find and it turned out amazing. Our basement living room is so cozy now and this thing puts out warm air way better than a cheaper fireplace/entertainment center we have. The media could not be loaded. This is a great addition to our living room! Pluses +easy to install +looks great +color changes are good +heater works +touch buttons work very well Negatives -remote does not function well even with direct line of sight it functions about 30% of the time. -depending on the speed you have the flames moving it makes a small “humming” noise. Only bothersome if the room is silent with only the fireplace on. I will be purchasing another one of these to add to the other side of our double sided fireplace. I will update if the remote and humming are still an issue or if it is just this one.

We already had one of these from the same manufacturer and we liked it, so when we wanted one for our walk out basement apartment, we looked a t many others but settled on this one. This is like the same one we have but the flame pattern is more realistic. Many of these have a flame that radiates from the center up and outwards, but in a real fireplace the flame radiates up and toward the center, where the flue is. And this electric fireplace flame pattern is like the real thing, it goes up and toward the center, like a real fire. We almost wanted to take this one for ourselves, because we like it so much better, but we installed in our apartment. It is very nice!

Nice electric fireplace. Redoing our den and wanted a nicer, cleaner look than our old wood burning fireplace. Fit our space almost perfectly, only small gaps on the sides to cover. Literally just took it out of the box and it slid right in. The remote doesn't work real well, but I'm going to replace the battery and see if that helps. I do wish the controls didn't stay on the screen as it takes away a bit from the overall look. And yes, the flames look fake. That's because they are! But it has lots of fun settings and makes a nice ambiance in the room. As it's currently summer, we have yet to give the heating a good test. Will update later if that is an issue. Overall we are happy with the fireplace and would purchase it again.

Used as a reasonable option to replace our dying gas fireplace. We placed in front of the original fireplace. It puts off just enough heat to take the chill off. Our rec room is the same square footage as the max heat footage for the electric fireplace. Heat is gentle and has two air flow speeds. The options available can be changed for color of flames and color of logs, also speed of flames. It looks almost real. We placed a fireplace screen in front and it hardly shows as a replacement unit in front the old fireplace. Width is about 7". The remote is nice since you can turn on/off and work all the features while seated. We are very pleased. It does exactly what we want and it arrived in perfect condition. 5***** stars from us!

Excellent Electric Fireplace. Very traditional looking which my wife love. The heat output is great for our small family room. The remote control is a bit slow on the clicking. You have to point it directly to the electronic area but works well. Overall we are satisfied with the product and recommend it to any one looking for a electronic fireplace. We had little trouble mounting it to the wooden box.
