First time I used it I didn’t think it would work because it makes your hair wet. Used it before bed. Woke up and hair was dry and looked and smelled clean. I use this at end of my wash cycle. Clean scent.

Ordered this because one of my friends said that she found a dry shampoo she loves to use post-workout. I have used this for about 1.5 years & it's ok. I think my friend may have drier (bleached) hair & this might work for her, but I have super jet black virgin asian hair at my roots & this dry shampoo just mildly helps for a few hours. It does have a very light clean-dish scent, so I understand how it can be great for a post-workout, but I normally use this in the morning before work. It doesn't quite get all the oil, but leaves a kind of freshly showered look, but not quite. It's quite moisturizing, but does break apart the oily strands. I would recommend applying it throughout the day as it looses it's effect after a while. The great plus is that it doesn't leave any white residue & I don't notice any gunk or build up even after applying it multiple times. I have purchased this again, but now I use it if my roots feel dry & I need more volume post-washing. I'd still recommend for drier hair or for post-workout. ... show more

So, like a lot of other reviewers, I was skeptical. A wet “dry” shampoo??? I don’t know how to explain this sorcery, but it works! I bought this specifically to use after the gym. I have spent a good chunk of quarantine training my hair to only be washed every 3-4 days and I wasn’t gonna let making my physical fitness a priority ruin everything! As soon as I get home from the gym, I spritz on my roots—focusing on the hairline, where it’s the most sweaty. I let it sit for 30-60 seconds, massage it in for a minute or two, then blast the roots with a blowdryer. I usually flip my head upside down to give a little lift. I can’t explain it, but my hair comes out looking better than it does on my wash days. It’s bouncier and has more volume. It doesn’t necessarily FEEL clean (why I took one star off). Let’s be honest, it’s NOT clean lol. But it definitely looks clean! And at the end of the day, that’s why I purchased the product in the first place. I’d buy this again! ... show more

I have thick, long and oily hair that has lots of volume. I have a hard time finding a good dry shampoo for my hair because pretty much everything on the market is designed to give volume. But this one is not! So if your hair needs volume, this is not for you. Pros: I like the fact that it's a mist, which I have found is easier to apply than a spray. It's easier to target the spot. It also does a good job to keep the scalp clean. I have oily hair, but this dry shampoo keeps my scalp grease free and itchiness free. The best thing about this product is, again, it doesn't add any volume whatsoever. Cons: I like the scent of the mist, but it doesn't really eliminate the smell of my scalp. My hair still smells a little badly no matter how much I spray this onto my hair & scalp (confirmed by my husband). And for me, it works only the day after I shampoo my hair. So I have to shampoo every other day. This mist is too light to deal with my second day. Lastly, the worst thing - the price is high! I use it every other day and it doesn't even last 1.5 months. ... show more
