I'm interested that so many people say they love the smell! I *HATE* the smell. I hate it so much that, even though I really love the way the product works, I find that I can't bring myself to use it because I know I'll have to smell that smell all day long. For me, it smells of earthy/hippie/patchouli + men's cologne and it's overwhelmingly strong. It's such a bummer because it's the fastest route to texture and volume for my hair and could replace 2 or 3 more expensive products. If they offered in a less powerful or more standard scent, I would gladly pay much more and use it every day in a heartbeat, but as it is, I had to toss 95% of the bottle. I should say in case it helps other people gauge that I'm sensitive to smell, but not normally someone who throws away hair products for scent reasons. Love the scent of the Oribe products, for example, even though they're strong smelling. ... show more

SO SO GOOD. I personally cannot handle scented products so the fact that this barely scented is a plus for me. Product does not get hard & crusty when used. No white residue. Holds hair while looking completely NATURAL.

I have thick hair that either gets really weighed down or oily looking with most product, but this one doesn’t make me look like my hair has absolutely no body...I love this stuff! My mom bought me a bottle of this over a year ago and I was hooked. I can’t place the smell, but it’s not a super pungent scent of flowers or herbs, just “clean.” A little goes a long way, so the product has lasted me quite a while...which make the price worth it in my opinion. ... show more

Smells great!! I love this smaller bottle because I can bring it with me when I'm traveling. As far as the product goes, it works really well for me. I have a pixie cut and I can use the paste while my hair is damp to get it to sit the way I want it, or after I blow dry/flat iron my hair to give it a little bit of texture and help it to stay where I like it.
