I ordered size small, I am 5'-3", and weight 135-137 lbs. I considered myself have weight. At the top area it is tight but not uncomfortable, it is fine and I okay with it because I knew if I ordered medium it will look big on me, so I am okay with the top area that it tight little bit and same with the waist area. About the sides, it is okay but I wish if drop down more but it is fine I can agree with it. For the length it is fine and I think the coat will look more good with high heels. The length good it help keep you warm. The material is fine, it is light not too much heavy and give warmth at the same time which good to me it makes movement easier. Overall, it is looks very nice and the style is good. I ordered black color, size small. I am glad I did not order medium because it will look loose at the top and big. The arms are good and have plenty of room. I would say make sure in measurements because it is very crucial, it make difference in the way you look in the coat. I have had this coat for 6 years and the inside lining just started to rip. I will be buying a new one asap. The coat is very warm and thick. It also allows for layering if you get one size bigger. The coat isn't too soft but I am okay with that because I don't like too soft of a coat on the outside. The inside is silky so it's great for putting on quickly. I got it in black and it is true to color. If you have bigger shoulders, do size up. With the weight and structure of the coat, it will still give you a great shape. The ONLY and I mean ONLY con I have after wearing it for so long is it does pick up animal hair quickly so make sure to always have some kind of lint roller with you. Overall, definitely recommend if you are looking for an edgy but still classy look for the office or just want to feel fancy :) ... show more

    • Very stylish but difficult to hang

Make sure you read the measurements because there is no room for minor errors. This is wool so it does not forgive and stretch for you so if you don’t do your do diligence with measuring your actual size you may not be able to button your coat. With that said I got lucky and mine fits beautifully. I use this as my “fancy” winter coat for when I dress up. Everyone loves it and I get a ton of compliments when I wear this coat! It is very figure flattering even if you’re plus size like me. But be prepared, as with ANY wool coat it is a major magnet for lint and fur. You cannot leave your coat just laying around the house unless you don’t care that it collects literally everything. Having a lint roller in your purse is a must have whenever you plan on wearing this. I also suggest that when u aren’t wearing this you hang it up high because it is very long. I have to store mine in a protective bag when not wearing as well. If I didn’t do that I’d be spending and hour getting all the lint and fur off before I left the house. Doesn’t matter how clean ur house is. If there is lint and fur anywhere, it WILL find your wool coat. I still love my coat though and it’s wool so extremely warm. I do have a gripe though and it’s a big deal to me. I expected there to be a hanging loop built into the inside of this coat because it’s not only long but heavy. There is a thin silky material inside of your coat so when trying to hang it without a loop it is very frustrating because it slips off the hook so easily and falls to the floor repeatedly which is very frustrating. For the price and style you would think the designer would’ve used some common sense and sewn in a loop for easier hanging. This is a design flaw because the coat is not easily hung on a hanger either. The silky material inside makes it slip off. I will have to find a professional to sew in a hanging loop. I just love this coat! I love the way it fits and “I” love the way it looks on me. I’m 61 years old and the coat kind of has a sassy personality. 😊 So sometimes I feel like I’m an old woman trying to wear a style too young for me. 🤣 I do not care, I dress for me and for comfort. It has this really cool little flare at the bottom. It just makes for a really fun, incredibly comfortable coat. The absolutely best thing is that it’s made to DRIVE WITH IT ON. What coat can you do that in? The elbows have this little gathering so they actually bend and the shoulders have so much room. It feels well so good on and I haven’t noticed any flaws in the sewing or construction of the coat. Just a couple of cons, which don’t really bother me...it looks best buttoned (I wear it open mostly and there is not a belt to keep up with or hang around), the lapel is large and sometimes does not like to lay down and when the “huge” hood is up the lapel is really kind of in the way.     • Warm, Cute, LOVE THIS JACKET

I can NOT say enough things about my jacket, but i will say this - I have worn it several times in cold temperatures, (30 and under, snow, rain, ice etc) and it has kept me cozy warm (sometimes too warm!) while looking SO cute. It's silly, but there is something SO satisying about being so put together when it's freezing outside. You button this coat up and you are warm and fashionable. And, it does give cold weather Mary Poppins vibes, you can't go wrong. Truly, LOVE this jacket - it's also great because while it looks good when dressed up, a pair of jeans a t-shirt are also a cute outfit - this jacket is amazing. The lining is nice, the pockets are good, the buttons are nice but now that i have worn this jacket a bunch and love it, I will likely trade those buttons in for something nicer. This jacket is cute, warm, and you WILL get a TON of compliments in it! I have been cozy warm having LONG conversations outside in 15 degree weather. (I live in TX, and while i visit the northeast often, and am originally from the northeast, safe to say, this coat is doing a lot of the work keeping me warm, it's not like i am some super strong resistant to cold badass- the coat does the work- It's a PROPER winter coat!) The cut of this coat is so flattering. It is a little tighter around the bust, but the unique design means you can leave the top buttons undone and it actually enhances the silhouette, especially when worn with a scarf or shawl underneath. Well put together. It won't hold up to a very frigid day, but I have worn it comfortably with a long scarf and sweater at below freezing. This coat is beautiful and very well made for the price. It is hangs mid calf on me and is very warm. I bought it to replace my wool blend coat. I am giving it 3 stars because I bought my true size which is a large. It fits snug in the bust and the waist. I am 5'4 and 150lbs. My bust is a 38C/D and my waist is 32. I tried this coat on over my thin night gown and it was slightly snug. It isn't so tight I need to return it, but with the measurements listed here, I expected it to not fit so snug. If it had fit true to the advertised size, I would've given it 5 stars. I recommend ordering a size up if you are curvy. ... show more

This coat is exactly the same as the handkerchief hem coat sold by venus, but is half the price. It is a stylish coat and good quality for the price. I have yet to wear it outdoors, so I can't comment on how it will hold up to the elements. I have very long arms and buying outerwear that fits my torso and has sleeves long enough is always a huge issue. This coat fits great. The chest fits perfectly, the waist could be a little tighter, but my chest-waist-hip ratio is 36-26-39 (hourglass to pear shape). The coat hits me between mid calf and below the knee. I am between 5'7" and 5'8". I ordered the size small. The sleeves are sewn into a sort of bent position, which i found odd initially, but it actually offers more flexibility this way. The coat could use a good ironing as some of the seams make it a little poofy around the collar, lapels, and bottom. I have not washed the coat yet, so I don't know how it will hold up to washing and drying. The hood is huge. It looks cute over a beanie, but my head swims in it otherwise and it covers my eyes. Unique coat. U am excited to wear it this winter. It is not wool, but the material is better quality than basic felt at least. I do not have pets, so I don't know if it attracts hair. ... show more
