Seems well made. Matches my previous coach lights perfectly. If I don’t see any rust after a couple years that will be a good thing. Time will tell. Same style (different brand) purchased at Home Depot rusted badly after two years.

This looks great on the house, replacing a much more expensive (and slightly larger) outside light which only lasted about 8 years in SE Texas climate.

They are adequate for replacement of the 3 light fixtures I had(Quoizels) but not quite as substantial.The bottom rim is not adequately secured and can easily be dislodged when inserting bulbs.This is easily solved with a little Crazy glue.Light is good with 40 or 60 watt bulbs,owners choice. Still most attractive on market and one of the few with easy bottom access which is my prime consideration. ... show more

I wanted a porch light to replace our old light which had 2 candle lights. It's very difficult to find a polished brass lantern with 2 lights. This is the only one I could find, so I ordered it. The wall-mount base plate is very flimsy. It will not mount solid, flush against the wall. It is VERY big and heavy. Don't try it unless you have a VERY large porch. The construction is cheap. Mounting hardware is cheap. The box it came in was thin, lightweight cardboard, and was ripped when we got it. It's a nice looking lantern, just too big, cheap, and too expensive.
