Very quiet! Surprisingly Quiet! A great value! I keep it on the shelf in my garage to air up bicycle tires and top off the air in my auto tires occasionally. It runs my 18 gauge brad nail gun no problem. I also use it to blow out my car wit the air nozzle when i clean the interior. I don't know how long this will last but even if it only lasts a few years its still a better value than my last harbor freight compressor which only lasted two years for nearly $200 bucks.... Packaging seemed a little inadequate, although there was no damage to the item. Plugged in and compressor fired right up. It's very compact and unbelieveably quiet. Takes just under a minute to fill up the tank to @ 125psi. Very compact and not too heavy. Seems well constructed. Can't really comment on performance as I havent put it through it's paces yet. Cosmetically, I wish it had a screen printed front panel instead of a vinyl label...Would have given the overall appearance a much more professional quality look. This compressor is virtually identical to the California Compressor model but about $50.00 cheaper. Hope it holds up.......The price for the specs can't be beat. Really pleased so far! ... show more

This is a little gem of an air compressor.. Light weight , it is nicely balanced when carrying . Great idea having two air chucks great time saver when using 2 different tools and the tank recovers quickly . so very quiet you can work on project inside home and not disturb anyone in the next room..

This air compressor is the worst compressor I ever purchased. The location of the safety valve is placed on a spot that is impossible to reach and operate. It is not as quiet as described. When the switch is on the auto position it never stops working and when in the off position it does not stop working and air starts to leak from one of the components. I did write a review before about this product. I don't know why my review wasn't posted. I will contact Amazon about that. Very disappointed whit this purchase.     • Robust, quiet, and high air volume
My previous air compressor was an El Cheapo brand from a popular discount tool store (wink). It was super loud and died after 2 years. Decided to invest in a quality product, and was so glad to have bought this one. It is so quiet now, people can chat easily next to the running machine. The air volume is surprisingly high, it can keep up with a nonstop blow gun. And it has worked for over 2 years now, still good as new. It did break down one time due to metal shavings getting lodged in the check valve, which prevented the motor from starting when the air tank is pressurized. Disassembling the check valve and cleaning it brought the machine back to life. However, the metal shavings probably came from the air tank which meant that the factory failed to clean the air tank properly when drilling holes. Deducting one star for sloppy manufacturing. The other gripe is that the machine is quite heavy, and the handle is positioned too far in the rear instead of in the center such that lifting is more strenuous, and if lifted with only one hand, the machine tilts and hits you in the leg. ... show more

I bought this as a backup for my SuperSilent 30. I use it for airbrushing. I wanted something small to put under my workbench and relatively quiet to use indoors. The build quality is nice and solid. It’s portable, quiet, and most importantly affordable! It has a 1Hp twin piston motor, 1.6 gal tank, pressure regulator and 2 air outlets. I can even run 2 airbrushes at once with this unit. You can easily spend $200 or more on a similar unit. I’m very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it! ... show more
