I overpaid, The Dewalt 6 gal pot pad is better, The only thing going for the Campbell is the quietness, it is really quiet, which is almost a weakness, because it can't keep up with a framing nailer and you need yo hear it come on so you can pause, otherwise the nail may not go all the way in. The 150 max is a little low, the Dewalt 200 psi. Plus, it goes into funny burping mode, where it is on but not pumping, just making a umph noise. Resetting the switch fixes it, and it pumps properly. It may be defective. Or when at the end of a long extension cord and another tool is running and the compressor tries to come on, there was not enough voltage or something, so it goes into this burping mode. ... show more

Fricken’ amazing! I’ve been a contractor for 35 years, been using compressors the whole time. This thing is Super quiet (by far the quietest compressor I’ve ever owned!) And tanks are aluminum!! About 10lbs less than you think it should weigh!! I asked my guys after a month how they like it, they said the best thing I’ve bought them all year!! They love it! It’s fine for finish work, a couple guns or probably remodeling framing work, I have a big wheelbarrow compressor to run big framing jobs, But for basically any remodeling this thing is great. This is my second and quiet air compressor that I purchased , I love the peace and quietness of this and my other compressor , I really can not complain nor give a bad review on the delivery process and it's safety , no damages even though one of my compressors had a small Crack on the plastic round screw in part , I still am happy and content with the service and performance of this compressor and there's no subtracting a five star rate , these compressors are made to work with , take them to other work fields and somethings always going to scratch or scuff up , so there for 5 stars for this and the my other compressor and the delivery service , great job and I'm happy with all of my purchases ... show more

Unit was offered as "Like New" condition from the Amazon Warehouse. Supposed to only have a damaged box. The compressor frame is slightly bent, but shows no signs of shipping damage. I guess the unit left the factory that way. Works fine so I'm keeping it. The discount was about $50.00. I added a couple washers to one of the resting pads on the bottom which corrected the wobble. Overall nice and quiet. Using unit for dive hookah rig, running with Honda 2k generator from my boat. Has enough air output to support two divers on 100' lines. ... show more

This is the quietest compressor I have ever used. It actually fills pretty fast. Just hope it lasts as long as the previous one I had from this company. That was over 20 years ago, that I bought it at Costco.

This is a well designed compressor that is very quiet. It can drive just about any tool. I use it for framing and finish nailers. Now I can hear my other workers and can hear the radio. Compared to my old pancake compressor, this one is super-quiet. I used to have to put the compressor outside and run a long hose to wherever I was working. This compressor is no problem to have in the same room, and I can listen to the radio over its gentle hum. It's not a heck of a lot lighter than the old pancake compressor, but its vertical configuration makes it much less awkward to carry -- no more leaning to the side so that it doesn't bash my leg with each step. Works great and is very quiet. It's been holding air for three days now and the pressure is holding steady at 123 lbs. After several weeks this compressor is fantastic! Update: Its been over a week and its still holding pressure and the needle hasn't budged: GREAT! Update: Several months now and it works GREAT.It seems all these have an intermittent rattle from what I have learned but that is fine.
