  • A survivor!
I never, ever review a product, but this one so impressed me, I have to give this company credit for manufacturing an exceptional gazebo. The price was right, assembly was easy (one person), and it garners compliments from everyone. I just wish it had magnetized closures instead of zipper, which are smooth and easy to operate, but a bit cumbersome to have to open and close when you're trying to get your coffee, Bible, notebook and phone out on the "screened porch" for morning devotions. What motivated me to review this product was this: We experienced a very severe, brief storm last evening that tested the mettle of this gazebo. High winds that drove a lot of debris and downed quite a few trees, pea-sized hail, lightning, thunder -- it was a doozy! The gazebo came through it with flying colors! It may have helped that it was bolted to the deck instead of weighted. But even a large stick driven against the screen didn't tear it. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Pro's and Con's
Pro's: It's fairly sturdy and well made. It definitely looks nice. Con's: The assembly was okay for one person, but I had a hard time at the beginning, trying to pull the frame apart. Would be easier with two people. The screen on the top is not secured and hangs loosely allowing bugs to fly in as the wind blows. There are 8 grommets in the roof which is great for releasing wind pressure, but not great for rain that will drip into those holes on all 4 sides of the tent. The picture is very misleading concerning the sides. The screened sides are only attached by pressing them along the velcro strip on the hem of the roof. They do NOT slide to the corners to be gathered as in the picture. I don't even think that is possible. I wanted this product to serve as a screen room on a back deck for my grand baby. It is not bug tight nor can you use it if it rains lightly. The inside will definitely get wet. Other than that, it's a nice screen room for camping during the dry days...it's large inside, handles well against blowing wind, and packs up compactly. ... show more

  • I never write or send pics with a review. This one deserves it

Best purchase we've made. 30 mins to assemble. There should be at least 2 ppl. The instructions are easy to follow. It comes with sand bags ( sand not included). Should have gotten this a long time ago.

  • VERY poor quality! Plus no stakes, ropes or manual in the box.
UPDATE: Like other reviewers, I did receive pretty good customer service from the company. They sent the missing parts, and I received them within a week. However, the next week the tent roof started to weaken at a place across one of the beams. I had to put duct tape on the roof to stop the tear! Also, some of the hemmed seams on both the tent and on the screens started to unravel and some of the Velcro straps were so poorly fastened they just fell off. In contact with the company again, they agreed to give me a partial refund and to send me another top and set of screens… This is just a really poor quality product. The framing is not very sturdy. In comparison to a small pop-up canopy that I used for years which had a very sturdy steel frame, this Quictent model has a powder coated metal that bends easily. Recently, even though my tent was VERY securely fastened with the stakes and ties; gravel bags and cinder blocks, the entire thing blew over and into a mangled mess. I had to take it to the metal recycling place. This purchase was not only a waste of my time, but a complete loss of money, except for the $8 received for the scrap metal. If anyone needs a replacement top I can give you a good deal. Previous rating: No stakes, ropes or manual in the box. I’m working putting up the gazebo now and don’t have what I need. Serious bummer. I’m also concerned about the quality and construction of the canopy. Looks like it will easily tear at the stress points. I’ll consider updating my review if/when the company takes care of this. ... show more

  • Very Nice!
I found the product to be of good quality and visually appealing. The efficiency more than met my expectations! both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. Keeps the bugs out so we can enjoy our back yard. I put this thing up in about 30 minutes! It's only been mild winds...10 mph is the highest gust we've gotten, and it's held up without any issues. ... show more

  • Not as we had hoped
Three years ago the Gypsy/Spongey moth cycle started. This meant within a couple of weeks our deck would be unusable for weeks due to a constant rain of caterpillar casings (poop, in lay terms). It gets even worse when it rains and it turns to slime. It’s just disgusting. Also, we imagined that a screened canopy would help with mosquitoes later in the summer. It took my husband an hour to set up by himself. Literally within minutes, the caterpillars found their way into the tent via the vent on the top. Then it seemed like every bug in creation found their way in, but couldn’t get out. This could have easily been prevented if the vent had Velcro’d the netting to the roof, which we will eventually do. However, we pulled back the netting as it’s basically useless. It does provide some protections from the barrage of poop, so we’ll keep it up. It seems we’ll just have to wait until the moth cycle is over. If you’re not trying to keep out invading hordes, you’ll probably be okay. ... show more

  • Easy and convenient
Very good, basic screen house. Easy to set-up and take down. Be sure to purchase weights with it to prevent movement in wind. I had a problem with the screen upon first set-up. It was very tight around the perimeter and tore at the seam along the zipper. Upon reporting the issue to the seller, they quickly remediate the problem and sent a new screen. The new screen fits much better and we have had no issues since then. Nice to have this for our back yard on hot, sunny days or when bugs are more prevalent. ... show more

Looks good when you get it together but doesn't hold up long and the metal is thin not worth what you pay for it
