First of all... this is a temporary structure.... It's not meant to be permanent. And most Canopies are not rated for winds over 10mph... People who give it bad reviews seem to have them up for long periods of time in all weather conditions. I would also assume most issues are "user error"... If you want a canopy that will last then you might as well build one out of wood or steel and anchor it to concrete... but you are not guaranteed that it will stay up in a storm either. Otherwise just buy a cheap one if you are unsure. this is not a cheap one... it is the best looking in my opinion. Canopies in general are "wind catchers" made out of aluminum and fabric... I have been to festivals where 90% of the canopies were destroyed when a brief storm rolled through... will this one be any different? Maybe, maybe not. Will it keep you dry? if the rain is straight down, Yes... if its a sideways rain... no... (show me one that will) What this one dose do well is... looks good, keeps the sun off of you and provide privacy with the side panels... I bought this one for the venting on the top... heat rises and that helps let it out... But you give up some "weather tightness" in return... The Bottom line is you are getting a full featured canopy that is built like all the rest... this one has more "flare" and features... But if a storm comes through and you are not there to drop it and hold down... it will be twisted like all the rest. I have been through so many canopies in my life that I learned that if I am leaving my campsite for any length of time... I lower it to its lowest setting and make sure its secured... My opinion on this canopy is... the fit and finish was good if not great, I did see some velcro straps that looked like they might come off... some super glue took care of that... I will re stitch them if needed... not anything to get all "karen" over. (I Cant believe someone asked for their money back over that) Other than that... it works and looks very good. Side panels are not the tightest fit... but, Some zip ties took care of that. I have not used it for the intended purpose yet (Electric Forest music festival) but I have set it up to make sure it is all there and it gave me a chance to practice setting it up and tearing it down. If you like how this one looks, Buy it!!! if not, get the same one you see at every other campground.

This is so poorly made! Has large venting holes along each side that allow water to just pour inside walls when it rains. Corners are so poorly made that the corner cover pieces don’t stay attached & are about 10 inches too long. We have had canopies all our adult years & most last for many years. This one is toast after just a few months. Oh yes, the poles would not stay locked. Husband had to drill holes & put screws in. I am updating my review as of 3/14/2023. Company has agreed to refund my money in full and I don’t have to send any pieces back. The company has tried to accommodate so I will improve my rating to a 3. The canopy itself is definitely a designers mistake & should be taken off the market. Don’t be afraid to buy from this company. Just don’t purchase this canopy,

8 large holes in the text topper to stop the tent from collapsing but water come straight in on you!!! Easy to set up love the color but must decide on a more water proof option. Most tents come with weights this one doesn’t so grab some

I bought this Canopy a year ago. Because I didn't anchor it well, the wind blew it away and some parts broke. This year when we put it up, it didn't look very stable due to broken pieces. I thought it would only last me this summer and I should throw it away. I decided to contact customer service to buy the parts and the service was extraordinary. Kelly who helped me, sent me the pieces and now, the Canopy is like new again. Kelly thanks for the quick solution and your kind attention. Maybe you can find cheaper Canopy but can you replace parts if broken. ?

We put our smoker under it so we could cook in the rain. This is absolutely useless. I might as well have be standing directly in the rain. It leaks like crazy. Nothing stayed dry.

This was bought for a 4000+ people music festival and it was one of the best looking and performing tents there. We came across as very professional, as we mean to be and this was a great addition to our presentation. We had it up in 5 minutes and down in 4. 5 stars

Very overpriced for the item I received. The frame is sturdy but the tent part was a poor fit and quality. I am very experienced at putting up tents and it is not easy to assemble and instructions are difficult to follow. Multiple Velcro strips pulled away from the tent fabric without extra tension or stress on them. One was already off when we unpacked the tent for the first time. The fit of the tent was not as pictured. The sides were loose in areas and tight in others. The corners did not fit together like they do in the photo at all. I have not used it in wet conditions but I have to assume it is not very waterproof since their are large gaps and the corners do not fit together well. The stakes are VERY poor quality. They bent pushing them in the ground by hand.
