  • Great tent but keep an eye on the weather!
First of all, the tent provided a perfect setup for our party - mostly because of my watchful eye and the weather cooperated. If you want to purchase this tent, you have to be diligent in the setup. Also, if you are diligent and careful in the dismantling, you will be able to use it again. Here are some pointers you must follow if you want the tent to be in a good shape on the day of your big event: 1. Watch YouTube videos by people who have installed the 10ft. x 20ft. Quictent. I learned valuable lessons from 2 videos. 2. The tent comes with an instruction manual for assembly. It has parts list. Verify that you have all the parts and separate the rods, corner connectors, straight connectors etc. in groups. Mark the poly storage bags by the rod numbers or alphabets of connectors. (This will help you put all the parts in the box for storage) 3. After the top frame structure is assembled, reinforce each joint with the white duct tape provided in the box. THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL STEP since any windy condition will try to knock down the structure. In order to make the disassembly easy, fold the end of each duct tape piece on itself so you can easily peel off the tape later. 4. Put the canopy on the structure while it is sitting on the ground or on your deck or patio and stretch it. Then, with the help of more hands, raise the structure to insert the vertical posts. Don't wait for the whole structure to be raised to the full height before putting on the canopy. 5. I installed the tent on a paver patio, so could not use the stakes to hold down the 6 legs firmly. If you install it on grass or bare ground, you will have an advantage. For two days I was constantly keeping an eye on the tent and moving the legs shifted due to windy conditions. I am including some photos from our setup. It accomodated 18 people for a meal - 3 tables and 18 chairs. Good luck with your purchase! ... show more

  • SUCKS!!
Size: 10'x30'
Don’t even know where to start! I contacted the seller prior to purchasing because NONE of these stupid party tents have good reviews!! This company had the least amount of negative so I thought I would try it. Seller said it was good quality. BULL CRAP! We put the frame together ok. I had high hopes. As we put the feet on it one pole popped out! We fix that and another popped out! We fixed that and another popped out! 2 FREAKIN HOURS LATER, early guests started to arrive and I said just put the cover on it and do the best we can because I had other things to do before this event started!! I was SO stressed!! And in tears!! Then, as you can see in the photo… during the event, poles were still popping out!! PIECE of total CRAP!! Then tearing it down… while I was tearing it down a SLIGHT… and I mean SLIGHT breeze came up and blew the dang thing over!! Unfortunately it blew onto my fence and the cheap crap cover tore! I need to use this piece of crap again in 3 weeks for my wedding and I dread it!! Plus, I bought 2 of them and the first event was such a disaster with it I didn’t have time to assemble the 2nd one. Thankfully, a few quests brought other pop up tents that are actually better quality than this piece of crap and only $50 at Walmart!! Sad thing is… I searched and searched for a product made IN AMERICA and would pay extra for that and QUALITY… but you can’t find either of that today!! TICKS ME OFF!! This company and others like it should PAY US to use their piece of CRAP stuff for the stress, time, frustration and disappointment they cause!!!! It used to be companies had pride and took care when their name was printed on a product. Not anymore! ... show more

  • Worked well. Add sandbag weights, and a little duct tape.
Size: 10'x30'
Took me a couple of hours to assemble it. Most of the tubing was in perfect shape, with 2 that had been dinged a little on the very end/edge, so that another tube could not be inserted. Easy fix though. Just bend it back with a needlenose pliers. Spring loaded wires snap into the slot of a mating tube nicely. They will pop out if the tent isn't square or if there is too much tension. We added weights to all eight legs and it survived a mild storm. The legs are two pieces of pipe, with nothing holding them together but gravity. and the fabric, so I added a little duct tape on that junction. Otherwise the weights we added would only keep the bottom pipe grounded. The foot pieces are gravity fit too, so you can't depend on them holding anything down. I attached our sandbag weights (also purchased on Amazon-you will need 2 sets for all eight legs Ohuhu Canopy Weight Bags for Instant Legs Canopy Weights Sand Bags Outdoor Sun Shelter, 4-Pack) with duct tape to the bottom poles. I don't think that the shaped weights that just slide over the foot will be of any use at all, as the foot is just there to keep the tube from sinking into the ground with a gravity held connection. Sides attach easily with 3-4 snap belts. Then you use nylon shower curtian type rings to connect it secure them to the top pipe. The sides connect to the vertical poles with velcro. The two end panels have a center zip to open things up. Tie-down nylon strings and small aluminum pegs are included. We used them, but woudn't reccomend going without weights too. The strings tie to fabric/plastic hoops on the top cover. Be sure you get the top right-side out. The pipes have numbers printed on them so that you can identify the correct ones during assembly. The number is a couple of inches in from one of the ends. I had trouble finding/seeing them, but my wife had no trouble. The plastic connector pieces seem durable and are marked with a letter, but referenced by number in the instructions. However, it was not too difficult identifying them by shape, matching them with the drawings in the manual. The manual is printed on glossy paper and seems like it will last. It covers all their canopy products of varying sizes/shapes, but we had no trouble identifying the pages pertinate to our tent. Be sure to hang onto it! The tent came in a big box. There is no carrying case or bag (as expected) My wife is using it for a fundraising sale. It ends in a couple of more days, and I'll have the fun of taking it apart and packing it away. I'll update this comment if I can, and if any issues arise. Thanks for reading. ... show more
