This was easy to assemble. Direction were pictures and of them not specific. Only had it for a week but it seems pretty sturdy, and it would be easy to disassemble if needed.

  • My 10x20 Carport Set Up & Mods (UPDATE 4.30.23)
Size: 10'X20' Color: Gray
4.30.23 DAY 391....RIPPED AND NO WARRANTY...SUPPORT RESPONSE IS$100 FOR A REPLACEMENT CANOPY.....BUY THE EXTRA WARRANTY FOLKS....YOU'LL NEED IT...I reviewed (Non Metal) Carports for a week and ended up with this Set Up.....I'm 66 and assembled this in about 2.5 hours by myself...( I take breaks often)....Easy to assemble and I'd say Sturdy components. It was a bit Low on completion, and the passenger doors were catching on the Canopy Skirted areas which I really wanted to have for rail deflection and run off. $40 in 8x8 Blocks, Masonry Bit and 1/4x2 Tapcons solved the issue. Not really impressed with the provided Ground Anchor System. I went with 4..18 Inch Auger style Ground Anchors on the 4 corners as the Canopy has Loops at the Top incorporated in it. I added 4 Motorcycle Ratchet Type Tie Down to secure the whole deal to earth. Note: I used my DeWalt to drive all 4 of the Anchors into Sandy/Clay soil. Got $70 in the Strap & Anchors! It's still Fully Portable, Canopy can be easily replaced when needed, No metal Cutting involved and No Quickcrete was used. I like the results and the Canopy as an assembly. If this thing blows away...the Canopy will be the least of my problems around here. MODS 8 ~ 8x8 Concrete Blocks 16 ~ 1/4x2.50 Tapcons 1 ~ 3/16 Masonry Bit 16 ~ 1/4 Inch Stainless Steel Fender Washers 4 ~ 18 Inch Auger Style Anchors (cordless drill installation type) 4 ~ Quality Motorcycle Ratchet Straps 1 ~ 12 Pack of Yuengling ... show more

  • It works really nicely and great customer service
Size: 10'X20' Color: Green
I wanted something to add a layer of protection from hail mainly, after my truck got numerous hail dings and the cost of repairing them is enormous. I don't expect large hail to bounce off, but, as I found out, it will penetrate the tarp but slows down enough not to dent the vehicle. As expected, it finally got destroyed in a storm a few weeks ago when high winds and all the holes from the hail storms combined to rip it to shreds! This was after it was installed for a year and three months. I contacted Jenna with customer service and asked if it was covered by warranty. Of course the tarp wasn't covered which, I expected. But they offered me a replacement roof for $100 and I ordered it and received in just a few days, very quickly. To me, even if I had to replace it annually, that's not too much for insurance against the elements. Much cheaper than hail dent repair. Some installation tips! Once you have the frame completely set up and the cables tightened with the turnbuckles, you can unfold the roof and run it longways along the outside of one side of the structure. Then I took rope and ran it through eyelets adjacent to each pole, one on each end and one near each of the inside poles, ran the ropes up and over the roof side pipe and peak of the roof pipe and down over the outside of the outer edge roof pipe and then using the four ropes I was able to pull the roof tarp a little at a time, up and over the top, temporarily tying off the ropes to the leg pipes as I want from rope to rope. Eventually I was able to clip the original side clips on the side that I unfolded the tarp to the leg poles and pull the tarp tight around each end and sides. I did have to use a small ladder to tuck the top ends of the tarp over the peaks on each end, and while up there I used the ball bungees to attach the roof tarp at the high points before going around and attaching all the rest of them. On my original roof tarp, some of the sewing of the little straps with the little hooks on them were off maybe as much as three inches and wouldn't reach the holes in the leg pipes, so we zip tied them down but they never caused a problem. It is obviously easier with two people to pull the tarp up and over but with the ropes, one person could make it work, barring any wind gusts. I also bought some rebar anchor stakes https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZYHBD24/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and drilled out the hole in the foot piece of each leg where it sits on the ground and pounded the spikes in to hold down the system and protect it from walking away in a storm. I am going to build a carport, but until I do, this will provide the protection I want. ... show more

  • Not bad for the price.
Size: 10'X20' Color: Green
This purchase was made to protect my new car from falling hickory nuts. My last car had what appeared to be hail-damage as these nuts are big and heavy. Its way cheaper to put this up than have that tree cut down. The frame seems sturdy enough but I reinforced It with extra mounts up high on the vertical posts against the house. The tarp is thin and will not last long. Found some options at tarpsnow.com for the eventual replacement. Assembly was easy and I only needed help pulling the tarp over the top. Everything else was a one person job. Its a good size as my lawn tractor and mid size car share protection from sun, rain, and evil hickory nut assult. ... show more

  • Weather and Sun protection
Size: 10'X20' Color: White
Dear Quictent, I purchased this car port 3 months ago and wanted to say how fantastic it is. I have anchored down the car port posts to my concrete driveway next to my home and it looks fantastic. It has gone through rain, wind, sun and fog. No tears, no leaking, no breaks or issues what so ever. It took me 2 weeks to drill into my concrete to get the anchors installed correctly, (16 holes x 2 1/2 inches down) but once in, the whole car port took less than 2 hours to get erected and installed. I have even used the tie down states and rope just to make sure that it is stable and covers my car and my daughters motorcycle. All merchandise, poles, heavy duty cover, stakes, steel cables and hardware were tagged and included in the packaging. I live in California so our storms are windy and rainy but not much else. If there were to be winds above 40 mph and the car port was out in the open - I would be very nervous about it's stability. But nestled up against my home and securely anchored that way it is, I am look forward to many years of great protection for our vehicles from the sun and rain. I can not thank you enough for a great product and a great price too. The only feedback I have is to make the feet that you anchor to the ground a bit thicker. It would hold to the ground a bit better if the anchoring plates were made out of a thicker steel.. ... show more
