I recently upgraded to a 27 cup Brita dispenser model, instead of the old 10 cup jug, because my elderly parents aren’t so great at putting the filter back in properly, and tend to tip it out when they inevitably empty the jug. Plus, they don’t fill it up again, or at least one of them does not, so we’re constantly waiting on water to run through. So, I bought the bigger water dispenser model to solve the problem, but I don’t want it hanging over the edge of my counter, where it might get water on the floor. It would be in the way and look bad, too. I looked at some dispenser stands, and hated them or didn’t like the price for most, and was going to build myself one. Then it occurred to me that a plant stand could work. Our tallest water bottle is about 12 inches high, so I wanted something that would get us just a touch higher than that. I looked at all kinds of plant stands, and I liked the simple aesthetic of this one, but most of all, I loved that the tall side would actually work for this. It didn’t need to expand at all to hold my filter pitcher, but since we keep a jug under the plant stand part to refill the dispenser, I pulled out the front legs a bit to make room. This thing looks amazing, and more importantly, it lets me fill even my 1.5 liter bottle easily, without tilting or having to hold it in place. My parents love it, too, because it makes things so easy for all of us. This was the only one that had long enough legs to make it work; I could have built a platform for a shorter one or something, but I didn’t want to have to fuss with it, just wanted something simple. Very happy with this purchase!

Works exactly how I hoped with it being adjustable. The screw hole was made too small took some effort to get that into place. Otherwise it looks great.

I have a large heavy ceramic pot on this; it holds the weight just fine. When sliding it to adjust the position or for cleaning, the legs can twist a bit. The stand is nice looking and it really does just use a single screw to assemble; they include a dinky little screwdriver tool as well.

I like this plant stand, and it is doing its job. My difficulty was the assembly. I believe the screw was too large as I had great difficulty moving the screw into the tiny hole that was drilled. It was clearly not the right size; I had to employ a much larger screwdriver, and it was apparent that I was screwing it into the wood and boring a far larger hole than present. Only two of the pads to be placed on the bottom were included, and they had to be cut in half to fit and insure I had one for each leg. The tray to be placed at the bottom is noticeably smaller than the smallest width of the legs; if someone were to use a flat bottom pot or any pot of any significant diameter, they would be unable to use the included tray.

Like other comments mention, the legs are a bit wobbly. However, it holds a heavy ceramic planter and a medium sized fiddle leaf fig. I also manhandle it a bit with waterings as I pick up the plant for draining and replace it on the stand, but it doesn’t show signs of wear and tear or weakening, even when you get it wet.

Very nice, well built, like it very much, bot does not fit a 12" planter, maximum opening is 11⅝" that ⅜" make it unusable on a 12" planter otherwise would give a 5 stars
