Fantastic small lift! Master mechanic of 15+ years here and this lift is great. 2’ doesnt sound like a lot, but it is plenty of room to do whatever you need to. I too was skeptical about the height but seeing it in action shows that it’s enough. Super easy to setup, holds weight (per capacity) just fine, and super sturdy. You can disconnect the lines while its holding the vehicle without any leaks and move the motor away while you work. I do wish it had more than 2 locking points for more versatility, but hey, it still does just fine! ... show more

    • Really solid - but kinda heavy
I guess they've about gotta be that heavy to be as solid as they are - but man are they kind of a pain to move around. They weight close to 100lbs EACH side so you've got to be careful if you're working in a tight environment like my two car garage. I nearly dropped one on the car the other day. These are not things you're just going to slide around easily and carry over to another bay. They're HEAVY and kind of cumbersome to move around. Don't get me wrong though - they WORK great and the function of them is pretty much second to none. They are super steady and I don't have any problem fitting underneath on my creeper with them in the air. The car is solid and doesn't move much at all. I've used them several times now and feel like they're reliable enough to count on. There's some guy on YouTube who's attached some mini roller ball wheels onto the bottom sides to slide them around with. I may try that as they are really kind of a PITA to get set up. ... show more

5000TL jacks easily lifted a 4600lb 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. Installation note: install 90 degree hydraulic cylinder fittings into cylinders before attaching hose(as opposed to what instructions say). As the rubber blocks that come with the jacks won't work on pinchwelds, I used my table saw and cut 1" deep x 1/2" wide slots into the 3" blocks for those applications. Quick disconnect fittings are stiff to attach/disconnect, but do not seep at all when disconnected. Jacks are quite heavy, but are very well constructed. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • False advertisement, Only Fits C & E Class Mercedes, Not S As Advertised On Picture Of Box
The products box came shipped with rodent pee/poop all over that made the whole package look rain damaged. The product comes with no accessories to build the product. You’ll need specific skinny Hex Key, your own wrenches, plus upon arrival, all the Hydraulic Fluid spilled everywhere in the package due to the breather cap not being screwed in. The seller is not open to suggestions or complaints. He thinks his product is perfect like this. The jacks are completely worthless to me considering I own a S class and my wheel base is too long for this lift, making it not possible to even use. I am going to keep the Car lift since I’m stuck with it, Seller offered to waive 20% restocking fee as long as I pay the $347 freight fee to send back. That’s nice and all, but still sucks you guys falsely advertised the product and also took ZERO care in how it arrived to me. A very disappointed customer here. ... show more

    • Stiff couplers
The lift it is well made and sturdy. does a great job. Instructions are clear and well written. The lift will pay for itself by avoiding dealer prices for oil changes, brake jobs and general service work on our four vehicles. Few points that I would like to see improved. The quick detach couplers are far to stiff to push in to connect by average hands, I have had to spend $70 for a tool specifically designed for that purpose. I found it a bit of a struggle to position the lift sections into place. The supplied handles were of no use on low slung cars. I think a boat hook with long handle would aid pulling and pushing the lift sections into place from the rear of the vehicle. A piece of string with small hooks on each end should be included in the kit in order to simply pull the lift sections out from the rear. ... show more
