Description

The heavy-duty Deluxe RV Bumper Receiver Adapter turns your bare bumper into a 2" receiver, giving you the ability to add a bike rack or storage tote to your RV where you would have not been able to before. This heavy-duty adapter mounts underneath your existing 4" x 4" bumper and its receiver fits standard 2" tubes. 200 lb. tongue weight capacity. NOT intended for towing purposes. Before installation, be aware that RV manufacturers may place load restrictions on their vehicle's bumpers. These load restrictions must be followed to create a safe RVing experience. If you are unaware of your bumper's load restrictions, please consult your manufacturer for information to ensure safe use. Install only on continuous-weld steel bumpers.

When we sold our stick and bricks home and went to full time RV life I knew I was going to need something like this for internet solution. After doing some research, and purchasing Starlink I knew I was going to need a couple of options to mount Starlink. I can always set Starlink up on the ground, but when we are in RV Resorts/Parks I want Starlink and the cable up off the ground. One, that will help improve my signal, but two, I do not want the unit or cables on the ground. There are too many opportunities for a mishap with animals running around or grounds crews damaging the expensive unit. This hitch receiver worked well to provide me with a few options to mount my Starlink. I paired this with a flag hitch and pole, and now I have the opportunity to have a few options. I will not travel or tow with this kit on the RV itself, but it assembles and disassembles easy enough to make it a quick part of our set up and tear down routine! For the price I paid, I got what I needed. And so far, it is holding up in terms of sturdiness and stability. It has been out in the elements for about 2 months, and is starting to show rust spots. But I do primarily live in a windy and salty location; so I suppose those rust spots are to be expected. ... show more

    • Just what I needed.
Fits perfectly on my Camper bumper. Great to haul bikes with or plug in my wild game hoist at hunt game.

    • Be smart about what you use this for
I hung a bike rack and 3 mountain bikes off the back of our camper and it was pretty bouncy, but that bounce was due to the 4 x 4 bumper flexing. After driving for a couple hours, I could see the bumper paint cracked where the metal was flexing. I'm confident that if I tried to go another 4 hours the metal bumper would have failed. RV bumpers are NOT thick enough to carry a bunch of weight (bike rack, hitch rack with a generator/firewood, etc.) like I did. I plan to reinforce my bumper to fix this issue, but that's going to take a little metal fabrication work.
