ive just been patiently waiting to see if it will puff back up to its form. As it came rolled up, its taking quite some time to regenerate back into its true form. The pillow and the cover is not 1:1. The cover is slighter larger. its a great pillow but I don't think its worth $40. its pretty cheap quality, deserves to be less. Might return.

This arrived packed into a small cantaloupe sized bag with a draw string, pulling it out I was initially convinced it was never going to reach full size but it did within a minute or so. Of course then I was convinced I'd never get it back in the bag for storage but rolling it up was surprisingly easy. The pillow itself is very firm, but being memory foam it's simultaneously soft in that weird way that they are, it gives but takes a few seconds. The cover is a soft, velvety material on the top and bottom and a slicker polyester-like material on the sides. Extremely easy to get in and out of its pillow case if you need to wash it too. The cloth of the case and the memory foam itself both retain a lot of heat so if you or someone are going to have your head on it for a long period or if it's particularly warm, you'll probably want a towel or something between you to prevent the sweating that very easily comes in those circumstances. Overall seems very high quality, reasonably durable, as much as as something you put in a bag and rest your head on periodically. It's a good pillow.

My daughter is a professional lashologists (I have no idea what she is) and asked to get her opinion of the pillow on that level. She was here this weekend and assessed the pillow on the quality and in comparison, to others that she has used. She said that it is not only important that the pillow provide comfort for the client, but also that the pillow provide a work surface for the tiles and tools (on each side mind you). This pillow was found to be very soft with a removable cover (easier to clean). The darker color may help to mask wear and/or staining over time. On the down side, the pillow is very plush (move give than I am used to) which doesn’t leave the sides in a “flat” state, when the client is lying down on the pillow… so the tools may very well try to roll inward, toward the client’s head. Another observation (as compared to her current pillow) is that the “tool surface” is smaller than what she is used to. As soon as I can, I’ll gift this pillow to her for further testing and observations. I will absolutely update this review. Cheerz

I almost skipped this as its hailed as a law pillow for getting your face/lashes done? Regardless I gave it a shot because I have a large head and many pillows kink my neck and are uncomfortable. This is a wide kinda short pillow. the rut isnt very pronounced but it does melt a bit to allow more comfort. If you prefer your head to be more flat this may work for you. If you want your head propped up, not so much. I am rather fond of it bit it does have that "new" smell to it. I dont foresee rolling it back into the bag it came in though I am sure if you were determined it could be done. Here is hoping my cats don't use it as a scratching pad.
