More comfortable than the stock Y-strap and adds a good 2 hours of gameplay to my MQ3. It does take a while to charge, as it's charging both the strap battery AND the internal MQ3 battery, but once charged, I get 3-4 hours with the MQ3 without issue. You will need to charge it up before your first use, and you'll know it is fully charged when you hit the button on the strap battery and it illuminates green (by then your MQ3 battery LED should already be green). In the software, when you hover over the battery percentage remaining, it tells you how much is left in both the strap battery and the internal battery, so you'll always know. It also seems to drain the strap battery first, then it will draw from the internal battery, which is nice. Recommended purchase!

Its worth the price, you'll get an hour to two hours of extra play time depending on the game. It is also so much for comfortable than the headstrap that comes with the headset. The only real downside for me is no little split for a ponytail or bun. Other than that its so worth the cost.

It’s a 5 star product that I want to give a 1 star review on simply because it should just come with the headset. Seriously! Without this battery strap the Meta Quest battery life is a joke. Without this battery strap the entire headset is off balance and completely uncomfortable to wear for even the short battery life without it! This battery strap at least triples play time, balances the headset, and is simply more comfortable than the original or “comfort” strap. It really is a great strap, and a must have. But, Meta… you suck for not including it. Cheap skates

After trying out a few third party accessories which always turned out to be junk, I caved and bought the official Meta Elite Battery Strap. And boy am I glad I did! It has a very premium look and feel and is very sturdy, unlike the flimsy third party straps which felt like they were going to fall apart. This thing extends your battery life by ~2 hours, basically doubling your battery life, it is much more comfortable than the stock strap, and what I really like about it is that the battery from the strap is used first, before the headset. You can also see the battery level of the headset and extended battery separately inside the headset. You can charge this battery strap and the headset at the same time and using only one cable, and it’s also worth mentioning that the Meta official charging dock actually charges the strap AND the headset at the same time! I will be going with Meta official accessories from now on as that seems to be the way to go! Sure it’s a bit on the pricier side, but you definitely get what you pay for with these Meta official accessories!

Easy to adjust and more velcro on the center head strap at top so much better. Battery is nice because stock battery died quick. The thing about battery in back is that it makes uncomfortable to lay head back while wearing. I wish I would have gotten battery less one and used external battery in my pocket or something. Other than that issue and the high price it is good product.
