I was interested in virtual reality, but didnt want to have to shell out $400+ just to see if I'd like VR enough to justify the cost of such an expensive system. I figured I'd buy an inexpensive headset that was highly regarded by reviewers. Now I can see why this has such a high rating. Ive never seen an Oculus or Vive VR system for comparison, but what I can say is that this headset is worth the money. Even if this is inferior to an expensive dedicated VR console, this wil still enhance youre viewing experience. When watching videos, I feel more captivated than if I watched the same video in standard format. You feel like youre part of the video...its pretty cool! The best part is that this is new technology, so the entire experience is evolving daily, getting better and better all around, to the benefit of the users like you and I. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is curious about VR but cant afford a dedicated system yet.

Ok here's what you need to know: the method of keeping your phone locked inside the VR headset functions in such a way that it will continue to press down on the power button during use. As you can imagine, watching VR videos on an turned-off phone doesn't work all too well. Only way around this is to jury-rig something so that the power button isn't pressed, which in my case was a bit of putty and some small Legos. Also the lenses, the two adjustable lenses with which you will see everything, are so incredibly blurry that you can't even tell what's happening on-screen. In the event you did not buy this item and instead spent the $20 on a steaming pile of dog feces, you would be pleasantly surprised to find the dog excrement a far better use of your money. In conclusion, this is an underhanded cash grab, so don't buy it! :)

The lens' inside this product leave my screen looking blurry, and makes quality of what I am seeing not too great. The strap is also way too tight for me, like it's squeezing my eye balls and crushing my nose, though I do have a big head. Can't blame them for that. I also can't use this the right way because I have to flip my phone in the other direction, otherwise it hits my volume button and mutes all sound. Not everything is compatible with your phone being sideways on a clockwise tilt as opposed to the counter-clockwise tilt. There are also some speckles on the lens of dirt or dust when it arrived that I can't seem to get rid of. I'm thinking it might be internal, inside the lens. Overall though, this is probably what you'd expect from a mobile VR device. You're not going to get the best VR experience, and if you also have the LG V20, then the volume button issue will be really annoying. I also received instructions from them that dictates there are some sort of item that you can put on the phone holder to cushion the phone so the volume buttons don't go off, but I don't have any extra pieces. Mine never came with anything except a headset and instruction booklet.

Don’t have as much experience with VR headsets but in my opinion, this is not half bad for its price. It’s pretty simple and easy to use. There are some good VR apps to use along with it. I recommend an app called Rising Evil VR if you enjoy scary games. It’s interesting having to use your head movement to control the character and the jump scares were damn scary. There is another app called Within that takes you on visual trips and the headset captures those visuals quite well. One issue I did have was that one of the two switches to adjust your vision was loose but I fixed it with some jiggling around. It sits well on the head once you adjust the straps and it is a bit of a tight fit with glasses but nonetheless, a good product. Fair quality for a fair price in my opinion.

This headset is not a VR headset with electronics built in (did you really think it was for the price?). This is a sturdy and comfortable headset that your smartphone slides in to. There are cardboard projects out there that do the same thing so make sure you know what you are buying. That being said, I still recommend this headset if you want to play VR apps in comfort. The headset is comfortable with straps that adjust the fit. It blocks out outside light which adds to the VR experience. It comes with extra stick pads so that when you slide your phone into the case you use the pads to prevent the case from pressing side buttons on your phone. Overview of how it works: Download one of the many free or paid VR apps on your phone. There are lots of free ones to keep the kids entertained. Open the app on your phone then slide your phone into the headset. Put the headset on and play the game. When finished with the game you can close the app and slide your phone out.

I guess you get what you pay for. The price was decent on sale, but the quality isn’t great. My biggest complaint is that there is no button to control the screen. Most VR headsets either come with a remote control button or have a button on the side of the headset that presses the screen for you. This one does not, so every time you have to click the screen like to pause a video, you have to take the whole headset off, then remove the phone from the headset, tap once on the screen, and then have to set it all back up again. It would be very simple to have a button that presses on the screen for you. The instruction manual says that you can just gaze at buttons in most apps to click but I have not had one app do that. It then does say “Some VR apps require an outer control, such as a remote control. These apps won’t work fully without a remote.” So then there is no way to use this in a functionally reasonable way. The view quality is decent at best. It is uncomfortable no matter how you change the straps or other adjustments. Overall, I would not recommend buying this unless you really don’t care about the quality.

I ordered two headsets, this one and one from a different company that came with a remote. The one that came with a remote looked the same on the outside, but the difference in the lenses were night and day. The BNext was clear and could focus, while the other set was blurry no matter how much I tried to focus them. The padding material was also much nicer on the BNext. I was so impressed with the BNext in comparison that I bought another pair and purchased a remote separately. I was expecting much worse for this price range. In addition to a superior product, the company also did a good job of including documentation on setup and source suggestions for VR content.

The headset feels sturdy and well built. It's pre-built and all you have to do is thread the straps. The instruction manual has a code that takes you to the app you need to get started. We did return it because we were unable to get the cardboard app to function on our phone. The seller contacted us to tell us to keep them (we had bought two) and they'd send a refund and help us fix the issues with the product. Even after explaining it was no fault of theirs and we were satisfied with the product they insisted on giving a 20% discount on another purchase with them to keep satisfied customers. We told them that wasn't necessary of course but the customer service beats the pants off of most experiences with a return. Overall it's what is advertised, well-built, good focus range, and amazing seller customer service and interest in satisfying the customer. Absolutely recommend the product and the seller.
