I have been using this mattress for a little while now and I can say that it has made my nights more comfortable. I noticed right away that it feels supportive without being too firm. I appreciate how it cushions my body because it helps me relax after long days. I tend to shift positions when I sleep and this mattress adjusts well without feeling uneven. I also like that it stays relatively cool since I can get warm at night. It has given me more consistent sleep because I am not waking up as often. I no longer feel the same stiffness in my shoulders and lower back when I wake up. The surface feels smooth and pleasant which adds to the overall comfort. In the first couple of weeks, I was content. My one complaint was you could feel movement from your partner. The springs allowed this. You definitely know it has springs. Now I've been on it for about 3 months. I just missed my return date. The mattress doesn't give to your body the way I expected. After a month of sleeping on it I have severe shoulder pain in my bad shoulder. I didnt have that on my full memory foam bed. Is it the worst mattress I've ever slept on, no. This Velvoon king mattress was a big disappointment from the start. It took far longer than advertised to fully expand and never reached a true, even shape. The mattress feels much firmer than described and lacks proper pressure relief. After a few nights, I noticed back and shoulder discomfort instead of improved sleep. Edge support is weak, making it feel unstable when sitting or sleeping near the sides. The materials don’t feel premium and seem to trap heat overnight. The mattress is very soft and bouncy. I thought it would be firmer as I also bought the twin size for my son. The twin was firm the full size is not. It does feel good but I do not like how much it bounces when I sit down or how deep it sinks me in.
