After considerable research on pricing and reviews, this was the best value for a 12 foot table I could find. Everything was exactly as described and easy to set up. It took only 30 minutes maximum to assemble. The play surface is already attached to the cradle which means that essentially only attaching the legs with the carriage bolts is required. After placing the leveler feet on the legs, I used a 4' level to make sure that the legs were perfectly level side to side and with each other, so that only minimal adjustments would need to be made after the full assembly. They were spot on, and no additional adjustments needed. Others have stated that this was a challenge, so I would start with this approach. The play surface did not require any adjustments of the climate adjusters as it was already slightly concave. This has not changed as the table has warmed up over the past few days. I am very happy with this purchase and it looks and plays great. ... show more

Terrible 1st there instructions on removing gold screws from the bottom very vague. Two were marked remove several others were not. Be sure you remove all of them before leveling. If you don't you will strip out the cheap climate adjusters. I have tried to put larger ones in but the board is so warped (con caved) that it won't pull it flat. I have ordered a different style of adjusters for another $150 I hope they work. I would not recommend this board to anyone!!!!! It has been a real pain. We got the cherry color 12' and it looks very nice. Seems very sturdy and well made. Granted it is not a super-high quality commercial table, but for home game room purposes it suits our needs perfectly. After reading the reviews of the high-speed included sand, I purchased medium-speed sand and am well pleased. I also like that it comes with a color matching wood sweeper. It also has Climate Adjusters in case the temp/humidity distorts the wood making it not slide properly. Very easy to level the table and play right away. Drawbacks: 1) Delivery - It actually arrived early, but they only had one delivery guy, so me and my bad back had to help bring it into the house. It was very heavy and difficult, but we managed. 2) No play instructions - No big deal as I printed the instructions from online. 3) Climate Adjusters - all were very loose, and a couple of them were not attached out of the box. I'm sure they will work well if I can figure them out, but I'm not confident that they are installed properly. Fortunately, I didn't need to use them for initial set up, as the table was very easy to make level and worked perfectly. This review is for the 12' walnut table. Let's get the cons out of the way first: * the railing rubber is not even glued on. I had to buy a bottle of gorilla glue to adhere the rubber that goes along the top of the rails (see pic). * it ships with carriage bolts to fasten the legs. Carriage bolts are meant for square holes, not round ones. On top of that, the holes were too small. I purchased some specialty furniture bolts for $20 instead of using the bolts it came with (see pic). * there are no pre-drilled holes for installing the scoring abacuses. I would be really careful when screwing these into the table to avoid splitting the railing wood. * the wood veneer is exceptionally cheap and peels off with little effort. * finally, I received a walnut table (like I ordered) with cherry wood legs. Amazon has been really helpful about resolving this so far. Hopefully, I just had bad luck and this isn't common (see pic). Now the pros: * it seems to perform pretty well. I've played shuffleboard in bars before and it seems comparable to those tables. * I bought this for $200 less than comparable tables. My family has really enjoyed this table so far, but it took a good amount of effort to compensate for it's poor manufacturing. Also note, it is exceptionally heavy and will require 2-4 strong people to move it. ... show more

OK. Just received today. Setup was simple if you know what you're doing. Having read previous reviews Ive come to realize that some people are just plain ignorant. When setting up have a level handy, screw the feet onto the legs and level the legs before you attach them. If the legs are level in the place they're planned to permanently sit then your adjustments later will be minimal. Put the table upside down on the floor to attach legs. When attaching the legs...the bolts are square under the heads, this is so they don't spin when tightened..,..simply tap the square portion into the wood prior to turning the nuts/washers onto the bolts. Then as you're tightening do not over torque them....use common sense. I suggest having 4 people to flip the table over as to not put any undue angled pressure on the legs. Put it in its place....do not drag....the legs are strong for the table but not meant to move on the floor. Use the level all over the table until you get it right. The one annoying thing is there arent any predrilled holes for the scoring rods/beads. I put them where I wanted them and used a drill with a very small bit to drill pilot holes. Then I screwed the screws into them....this way there would be no splitting of the wood. Because of prior reviews I bought #4 speed shuffleboard wax. I also bought shuffleboard silicone spray to spray on the table prior to sprinkling the wax/sand on. #4 speed is perfect for the 12' table I bought. As far as the concave/convex table setting.....mine seems pretty good straight out of the box....however it could settle and change based on the climate/humidity.......at that point you have to mess with the climate adjusters under the table.....again use common sense....youtube a video or whatever before you go torquing the adjuster bolts. The one missing star on my rating is because the shipping was annoying. CEVA is the company that delivered mine and they screwed up the times twice. I had to take off two days of work to finally get my table. Good luck with that. ... show more

I am extremely happy with this table. It arrived well packaged with no damage at all. Assembly is very easy although you will need at least two strong people to flip it over on its feet. Leveling the table is straight forward, and adjusting the climatic adjusters was as simple as following the instructions. Table plays great and with the sturdy construction I expect it will last many years. Very happy! ... show more
