As someone with a bulging disc in her back, I had searched for a firm mattress and this Memory Foam Hybrid was among the products that popped up in my search. It had decent reviews so I made the purchase. The mattress isn't even a little firm. And as someone else noted, there isn't any side support. It is too springy. It even makes the angle of my pillow weird so that I have neck pain along with back pain. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you like really soft.
