Outstanding Murphy Bed! I’ll admit, I was a little overwhelmed when three large boxes showed up. But once I unpacked everything and sorted the boards and hardware, assembly went surprisingly quickly. I had the main cabinet assembled in less than an hour. The instructions were excellent—clear diagrams and easy to follow, with no guessing about which hardware or boards were needed for each step. That said, this is a heavy piece of furniture that needs to be flipped and repositioned several times during assembly, so I definitely recommend having a second person help. The finished bed looks exactly like the photos and feels very well made. A few things I especially like: * The bed opens and closes easily. The built-in handles and quick-release locks are simple to use. * The storage drawer glides smoothly and easily holds a queen comforter, sheets, and two standard pillows. * Our 6” foam mattress fit perfectly, and both of my “beta testers” said it was far more comfortable than a typical sofa bed. My only minor complaint is that there are no interior lights. Since the unit already has power for the charging outlets, a couple of built-in puck lights would have been a nice addition for guests. That’s really just nitpicking, though. Overall, this Murphy bed is perfect for smaller spaces. I work remotely and have it set up in my home office, which has awkward angled walls and built-in shelving. It fits beautifully without making the room feel crowded. If you’re looking for an attractive, comfortable Murphy bed with useful storage that doesn’t take over the entire room, I highly recommend this one.

This product is high quality and sturdy. It is very easy to use, once it is assembled. I LOVE the result and it looks very nice in person. It arrived in 3 massive, VERY HEAVY boxes. I could not have moved them alone, so be prepared for that. I HIGHLY recommend having an extra set of hands to help with assembly. The directions say you need two people. I did not have anyone to help with that part, so I stubbornly assembled it alone. **WARNING** : The directions are quite literally 50 PAGES LONG. It took me about 12 HOURS to put together by myself. My AC happened to be out on a very hot day, and I slowed way down by the end because of my back problems, so in the right conditions, someone more handy without back problems may finish considerably faster. Even so, it was well worth the effort. I sleep better on a 6" mattress than I did on the 16" mattress I had before (I'm a side sleeper). Putting my bed away each morning is a breeze and now I have tons of space for my physical therapy exercises and for my dog to play during the day. I also find it cleaner, because my dog doesn't have the opportunity to lay on my bed during the day instead of his own. All in all, despite the labor of assembly, it is a great fit for me, and looks great next to my other solid wood walnut furniture, despite it not being genuine walnut — a decent match.

We bought this for our grandkids when they visit. We chose the darker finish, and it is beautiful. Considering all of the items we have purchased over the years that indicated "some assembly required" this is by far the most thought out and precise product so far. The parts come in 2 heavy boxes and is well packed. Every piece is marked with a number, and the hardware comes in individual marked bags. The instructions are very explicit so there is no guessing on assembly. It took us both most of a day to put it together but boy is it solid. It is easy to set up and break down the bed. We also bought a 6" memory foam tri-fold mattress which is very comfortable and fits well inside the cabinet when stowing the bed. We also added a small puck light inside the cabinet above the bed. All in all, a great purchase!

The twin size Murphy Bed did not disappoint!!! Came with clear instructions that were easy to follow and love that my trifold mattress fits in well with space to keep a pillow and a blanket with it. The two bottom drawers were a bonus to this. It sturdy and compatible. Worth every dollar spent.

I got the twin size. I think the bed is of pretty high quality and I think it looks amazing. However, 5 screws for the STG 3.5 mm were missing which is pretty inconvenient and annoying. In addition, I'm worried about the structural integrity of the hinges. The hinges attached to the panel and then to the rest of cabinet are not sturdy or secure enough and there is a lot of pressure put on those points. In fact, my hinges broke and I to re-drill them and apply an adhesive on the cracks. Keep in mind that you must fully extend the bottom drawer before dropping the panel down. If you forget and drop the panel first, it will likely break off its hinges because there is a LOT of pressure put on those points. I've also had the issue of the hinges scratching and then ripping my mattress and I had to re-stitch it. And a little nitpick this bed comes with anti-scratch little stick on pads and the ones that you put on the drawer almost always come off. I even applied adhesive and it still does.
