Materials overall are good quality, especially the hardware. Heavy metal hinges, cabinetry boards are heavy and sturdy, and the bed was fairly comfortable to sleep on. Since it comes with a 4 inch folding mattress that fits inside the cabinet when not opened out the mattress isn't super thick and compresses down when you sit or lay on it. We added a 3 inch foam egg crate topper with a padded mattress cover over both pieces and that combination made it really nice to sleep on. All the pieces fold up nicely into a nice looking cabinet that doesn't take up very much space in my room so this is a great option for occasional sleeping without dedicating an entire room for it. The bottom piece has a drawer that I am using to store the bedding, and the cabinet has enough space to keep the mattress cover and pillows. The egg crate topper I chose is a couple of inches wider than the cabinet otherwise I could store it in the cabinet instead of some of the bedding. Be sure to carefully inventory the hardware when opening the boxes, I received an extra drawer slide I didn't need instead of another drawer slide I did need, which slowed down my construction while I waited for the right part to arrive. The bed arrived several days earlier than the shipping estimate I was given when I purchased it so the couple of days delay for the correct part didn't set me back too much. All parts come packaged with clear labels to identify which piece is which, and the instructions are almost entirely diagrams so fairly easy to follow. Some of the steps had images that are really small so it was difficult to see how to apply some of the pieces. O had to take some of the parts off and re-apply them after I put them together based on what I thought the picture showed only to realize I had them together wrong. Could be me, my spacial skills aren't the greatest, but larger images of the pieces on the instructions pages would have been helpful. I was ultimately able to sort it all out and get it put together. I did almost all of it myself, I only needed help moving some of the heavier parts, and flipping some pieces over while partially built so nothing cracked apart. There were a bazillion parts and almost as many steps, I built it over a few days, spending a couple of hours at a time on it. I estimate it took me about 6 hours in total to fully construct, including redoing some steps when I didn't have the parts assembled quite right. Overall I am happy with it. Someone more mechanically adept could probably have built it more quickly but I am pretty proud of how well I got it together, mostly on my own. It looks really nice in my space too.

This is perfect for our guest bedroom! I painted it to match the room and am so happy with the results. It fits perfectly. My brother-in-law put it together for me and didn't have any problems though it took a chunk of time but it all went smoothly. Though it says twin the base is big enough to hold a full-size bed. The seller was super communicative and sent videos on how to put it together. The bed also came in sooner than I expected which was a nice surprise.
