Got this for my daughters new bunk bed and saw that the recommended size was a 6 but I had already purchased a 8. When it came in it only got to 7 inches in 24hrs which is fine for the new bed but not what I expected since i paid extra for 8 and not 6 . It's nice to lay on and my daughter jumping on it does not move the whole bed which is PERFECTION. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of the mattress but as a woman,you know that one extra inch counts.

I bought the six inch for bunk beds. Didn't want mattress too high, so railing is higher. Surprisingly comfortable and firm. I was worried if it was too soft could fall through slats but no problem. I put regular mattress on bottom bunk. Grand daughter chose this top bunk as most comfortable. I put a second one of these in trundle under bunk beds. So three beds in a stack.
