Holly crap shopping for a damn mattress on the internet is the most annoying thing I've ever done as an adult. Much like you, I had about 5 different brands sitting in my shopping cart for weeks because I was overwhelmed and couldn't decide...I mean how can you?!? Well I just decided to go with this one because it was grey, hybrid (not just memory foam) no fiberglass and firm. I'm a simple human really. It's been a month now, the 4 corners never fully fluffed up, kind of annoyed but the bed itself is AWESOME. Super comfortable- yes it's firm but not like prison cot firm. No funky ass smells. Heavy as crap to carry up to a top floor apartment. **I will update in a couple months. But as of yet I will 100% be buying this same bed for my son when he levels up!

6 week update Jan 15,2021 Would say the mattress is very firm and has very little deflection. Ended up using a 3 inch topper Mattress quality itself is very good Received the bed in a box on time and with no damage. The safety cutter is in the manual at the bottom of the box. Do not use a razor knife. Mattress itself weighs 76 lbs, so moved it near my bed before opening it. One man job if you're careful. Rolled out the mattress and to my surprise there were absolutely no odors.. However, I do have a cat and a dog so my tolerance is pretty high.. The mattress expanded to almost its full thickness of 10" within 4 hours. Gave it a test ride and it felt great.. lots of support at my lower back and head. Will update every so often. AFter 1 week have to say this mattress is VERY FIRM.. my 210 lbs doesn't make a dent! Hopefully I will acclimate.

I was a little nervous buying a mattress online, especially a brand I'd never heard of before, but the reviews and the price made a very convincing argument. This mattress took a full 36 hours to fully inflate so don't worry if it's wrinkly and soft at first. This is a well-made mattress and it feels solid. It was too firm for me though and I didn't get a great sleep (I like a really soft mattress....I'm a side sleeper and 115lbs). I would compare this to a Novaform from Costco....more on the firm side of a medium firm with a much better price! My husband likes a firm mattress and he loves this one, but he doesn't get a vote. hahaha! I was going to return it and wrote to the company. Their customer service is second to none! NEVER have I had better responses and friendly service. I was asked to wait for a soft topper. This was risky because it was out of stock and by waiting, I was going outside of my Amazon return window. I decided to risk it based on other reviews of good customer service. Today, the soft topper arrived. I am thrilled with this company, their product, and their customer service! Couldn't be happier!

First I was a bit skeptical about ordering a mattress online without even trying it out, but the current pandemic situation forced me to look for the online options and I’m so glad that I went with Avenco Hybrid after heavy research on various brands on different platforms. One of the reasons I went with this particular mattress was that they have mentioned about a 100 day trial/10 year warranty and as an amazon customer for the past 7+ years I was confident that I was able to return this if I was not satisfied with the purchase. The mattress arrived well packed in a compact box and all tools and instruction was provided to set it up. I took it out and let it breath for 72 hours as it was instructed and put in my adjustable bed frame to test it out. I immediately liked the way that it works with the adjustable frame. I’ve been using this mattress for the last 15 days and I’m loving it already. It feels amazing sleeping on this thing with a great firmness and support. Also the mattress is very comfortable and the build quality is top notch compared to the very expensive mattress that I’ve been using before.

After contemplating for few weeks I finally decided to spend about $400+ for this mattress and I could not be happier. After hurting my back for a few month with cheaper mattress I have slept in this mattress for about 2 weeks now and my back pain is gone. I will write update in 2 months if this continuous and if it sinks in like other mattress I have bought. Absolutely love that it came packed in a vaccum box, very compact box and when I opened it it went to its right form in minutes. Sturdy mattress. Absolutely love it, buying another one for my sister soon.

My wife and I are both in out early 70's and were waking up with aches and pains. We wanted to try a new mattress but were a little hesitant to get one we hadn't tried first. Finally after reading reviews we ordered this one. The idea of a hybrid with extra strength on the sides was appealing. We wanted to try it out for 10 days or so to get a good idea of the feel. After letting it sit open for 3 days we went ahead and put on the sheets and covers. We are both very pleased with the fact that it's firm and yet not hard. Other straight memory foam toppers were too hot and soft on the edges. This mattress is very different. I sleep in a t-shirt and shorts. My wife sleeps in sweats. Amazingly we're both comfortable and wake up with out the aches we had with our old mattress. It's winter so we're still using our cotton sheets. Our plan is to switch to bamboo in the summer just to make sure I stay extra cool.

I bought this bed based on all the glowing reviews. It does have inner springs, but you can only tell when you sit on the edge of the bed to hear some popping. The top, seems to be so firm, that I can only compare it to chewed gum. Amended w/2” gel foam topper &Pillow top mattress pad.
