Works as intended, but be careful you don't tip it over. I had mine on a small shelf and accidentally knocked it off and it tipped over. The ceramic wick holder popped out and the alcohol spilled. It was mostly my fault, but just remember the wick holder is not a cork or stopper. Fortunately, the wick was not lit at this time so it was just a quick clean up of some alcohol - and a lot of self-talk about how much of a klutz I am. ... show more

Affordable, glass seems pretty good quality. It is QUITE difficult to get the wick threaded through the thing, I wish it came with a tool, like a needle or hook or something. I couldn’t even fit a tweezers so I had to find a stick narrow enough to push it out the other end - pretty difficult but once done I don’t need to worry for a while Also came with a good supply of wicks A bit small, I wish it held more alcohol. ... show more

The wick is difficult to thread. Once threaded and you place the wick holder atop the bottle you realize there is nothing to hold it in place but gravity. It moves freely from right to left and front to back. Doesn’t seem safe to me. An accident waiting to happen.
