Works as intended, but be careful you don't tip it over. I had mine on a small shelf and accidentally knocked it off and it tipped over. The ceramic wick holder popped out and the alcohol spilled. It was mostly my fault, but just remember the wick holder is not a cork or stopper. Fortunately, the wick was not lit at this time so it was just a quick clean up of some alcohol - and a lot of self-talk about how much of a klutz I am. ... show more

Love the bottle shape and that it came with ezxtra wicks and a small funnel I believe. BEWARE: The ceramic stopper does not fit tightly on the bottle. It sits on top, unsecured. So if this tips when lit, fire will spread rapidly. Fire extinguisher not a bad idea to have on hand. Or, buy one with a screw on top.. ... show more

Works well in my lab. I tried 70% and it did not work well at all. 91% iso is the way to go. Well worth the 7 bucks

Cap is a joke. just sits on top. Plastic top. just tilt the bottle and the wick falls out from the ceramic wick holder being so heavy with nothing to hold it in but gravity. Fire hazard. Bonus: Cheap plastic cap. Useless.
