As someone from Asia, I was a little worried that a medium-firm mattress in the U.S. might feel too firm for me, but this mattress has been a really pleasant surprise. It feels soft and comfortable while still providing good support for my back. I sleep in different positions, and it has been comfortable for me whether I’m sleeping on my back or side. The mattress has a nice balance between softness and support—it doesn’t feel like I’m sinking too deeply, but it’s still much more comfortable than the firmer mattresses I’ve used before. I’m currently a PhD student, so my schedule can get pretty busy and stressful at times. Having a comfortable mattress has made a noticeable difference in my daily routine. This mattress was the best gift I could have given! My mom has had a ratty old mattress for as long as I could remember and I wanted to get her something new without spending too much money (in case it wasn't the right fit for her). It was super easy for me to lift with another person - not too heavy to carry upstairs. Additionally, it was really easy to set up - just cut the plastic with the included tool and it unrolls on its own. It took about 24 hours fully inflate and settle before laying on it and it was amazing. Super comfortable and noticeably firm without feeling like concrete. The mattress was a great purchase for the price and my mom said that it was the best sleep she has gotten in ages. It ended up being about 12 inches tall and fit a deep-pocket mattress really well.
