I bought this to dust my dark wooden furniture. It works great. I am a clean freak, so I use this for quick clean ups. If you have a pet this would be a great addition for your Dyson. Do make sure you check your type of Dyson for the correct fit.

After spending way to much for a vacuum... I bought this item to save about $100. Fits well on gen5detect and worth the money. Obviously, the plastic and the red fitting are not as sturdy as the real Dyson. It feels bit flimsy and the fittings might not last long. I can clearly see the difference between the real ones, but again they are just plastic parts... Not motorheads... See picture for comparison. I use a larger Dyson most of the time. I love using this one with the new attachments. This is easier to maneuver and using the attachments is quick and easy. Amazing how powerful it is.
