I have to say this is one of the first mattress protectors I've had that actually does what it's supposed to. That alone should be enough. Between the ones I've bought for the kid, and ones for the adult bed that is shared with the dogs, it's saying a lot. Most I have gotten let too much liquid seep through. This one was put to a genuine test. I had an old dog that had continence issues. In the past he had accidentally peed on the bed, and it went right through the old "protector". I bought this, and when I went to change the sheets one day I saw it was stained from another accident, but the mattress was completely dry! HEAVEN!
